Congratulations to Sebastian for his third world championship.

It has been a good year for Ferrari given where they started. Second in the CC and second in the DC isn't to be sniffed at. Clearly if the team can come up with a good car next year, everything else is in place.

Incredible race. I felt sad for Hulkenberg, he was doing such an amazing drive and it would've been very fitting to have him win this race, but it wasn't to be.

Congratulations to Vettel, he put on an amazing fight, slashing through the field so many times with a damaged car. Both guys did an amazing job, the title would've been well deserved either way.

I hope he gets a pitstop added to his time after the race, and Alonso inherits the championship..

Button's a good driver, but he's not at the level of Fernando or Sebastian. It would take McLaren having a dominant car and sorting out their team issues.

Ferrari need to improve the car to give Fernando his head.

What's this about?

He supposedly passed Koby under yellow. The BBC never picked up on it and the race stewards are usually pretty quick on this sort of thing.

EDIT: I'm hearing that it was the red and yellow slippery surface flag that has been mistaken for yellows.

I watched on the BBC and I saw nothing about this at all. Googling around shows nothing. Is this just a rumour?

Brundle: To answer many it appears the warning lights were red and yellow for slippery track not yellow so nothing to answer for Vettel.
