Vettel will take the title easily, and we all know it.

He can take it. But easily... i doubt it.

I think Alonso will need more than magic to win tomorrow... more like voodoo. :hehe: without a Vettel DNF, it's going to be, well in the words of spanky, "like pushing shit uphill with a matchstick"

I'm looking forward to a great season finally!

Yeah, DNF is the likeliest possibility. Vettel would have to have an extremely poor race to lose out without a dnf.

But you never know, as long as we have the HRTs out on track.... the possibilities increase :hehe:

Are the fans of Alonso and everyone who wants him to win the title such wan*ers that they all wish Vettel to have a DNF??? Everywhere I look it's the same story... FFS, why the need to wish someone harm, in this case DNF? It sucks, and everyone who wants Vettel to DNF S.U.C.K.S.
There you go, and think about it a bit... :wavey:

Not all DNFs cause harm :D and not all DNFs suck... some are quite cool to be honest.

Realistically speaking.... there's no way Vettel would finish outside of P8 on a normal race. And because both Alonso's big loss of points came from the same Lotus-Renault team....... A bit of reverse help from Vettel's buddies at HRT is welcome to work some magic. :hehe:

But it's still stupid to wish someone's DNF... Why the hell do you watch this sport then, when you don't understand the basic moral of the sport itself???

I don't think they dare gamble with clutch settings, incorrect advice etc this weekend, There's 10 mil riding on it., that's Checos wage for the year.

lets hope the team remember this even after the Button steak dinner :D

The basic moral of the sport is to win.
DNFs are extremely normal. If you can't handle DNFs then this is definitely not your sport to watch.

Are you just trying to look like you don't understand what I'm saying to you???
FFS, the point is to cheer for your driver, but not against another one, wishing him to have a DNF!!! It's like wishing that Rooney or Dzeko break their leg on the Manchester derby... It's RETARDED!

Note - Maldonado drops 10 grid spots after missing a call to the weigh bridge and thus receiving his third stewards reprimand of the season, resulting in his 10 place grid penalty.

I don't think people are wishing for a DNF, they're just saying that is the most likely scenario where Alonso wins the championship.

I've often said that I don't want to see the championship decided by a DNF, I want to see it won on the track.

But I still think it's reasonable to discuss under what scenarios Alonso would win the championship. That doesn't mean that a poster is wishing for that.

Vlad, I hope you didn't misunderstand my response to f1ea. I'm not wishing for a Vettel DNF, my horse is long gone from this race. :hehe: Coincidentally, he's been gone from the race because of DNFs so I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Vettel IMO has driven the best he's ever driver in his F1 career, coincidentally so has Alonso and so has Hamilton, so to win a championship in a year where every major contender was driving a their best is a good thing and a well earned thing.

In this sport it's not just about driving well, it's also about having a reliable car, or having the planets and stars align sometimes as well.

If there is a Vettel DNF tomorrow, and if Alonso happens to get a podium tomorrow it's just happenstance, it's part of the sport and as much as it would suck for Vettel, it wouldn't take away from how he's driven this year.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: This one takes the cake.

I'm not even going to bother with an explanation.
