Wasn't his last wet victory China '09, though? His more recent wet races have been less fortunate.

The problem is these half-ass rainy races. Whenever it is really wet, Vettel's flying (the wet part of Canada last year), but others are better when it's kinda 'meh' weather.

You mean unpredictable, changing conditions

Really wet/rainy conditions during q is very good for Ferrari and bad for Red Bull. It takes away Red Bull's big car advantage they have in q. It just makes things even. Both Fernando and Felipe could fight for pole.

And hopefully Schumacher can just find abit of his old magic and make a wonderful last race for himself :D

Definitely looks like again Ferrari's strenght is long run pace. With the warm conditions and abrasive surface i guess it will be less of a struggle than Austin in case of a dry Q... but if it rains, then RB gets their DRS cut-short so that should help as well....

Hopefully Schumacher gets a fitting farewell, some kind of magical race like his other byebye race..... not counting on it though :irked:

I'd say I'm excited for sunday. :)

I am now rooting for Sauber to find 9 points out of somewhere during the race and overhaul Perez in the championship standings. What a joke it would be, for him to leave F1.

Erm...?

Yeah sorry, I meant Kobayashi. I either had just woken up, or I was drunk and really sleepy....

Let's face it though, Suzuka aside, Kamui's year hasn't been spectacular!

Neither has the latter part of Perez' year.

Did you forget that he started Spa on the FIRST row and was one of the multiple Grosjean casualties? There is nothing separating his performance at Sauber this year from Perez other than more bad luck. He's not the qualifier Perez is, but he's he's much better at moving up the field.

Talking of "multiple Grosjean casualties", I keep getting a feeling that there's going to be a bit of drama at the start on Sunday. Alonso and Seb will be on edge and Lewis and Jenson will want to get second place in the constuctors for McLaren. Throw into the mix the usual crash specialists plus the weather and it could be carnage.

I don't think Seb has this in the bag. :)
