[Frontrunner]

That would mean that Kamui Kobayashi and Heikki Kovalainen have to find a drive of some sort for next year

[BottasForPresident]

Well there is still the one seat at Force India isnt there? but neither Kobayashi nor Kovalainen are really the favorites to get it. Also a shame Petrov has to find something else, i really liked him.

EDIT: http://www.caterhamf1.com/news/2012/cha ... r-contract It's confirmed, Charles Pic is driving for Caterham next season.

[racechick]

I like Petrov too, think he's under rated.

[Frontrunner]

Now that the Constuctors standings has been sorted, lets have a look at the 2013 drivers line ups with car numbers

Red Bull/ Renault
1 Sebastian Vettel
2 Mark Webber

Ferrari
3 Fernando Alonso
4 Felipe Massa

McLaren/ Mercedes
5 Jenson Button
6 Sergio Perez

Lotus/ Renault
7 Kimi Räikkönen
8 Romain Grosjean* (TBC)

Mercedes
9 Nico Rosberg
10 Lewis Hamilton
(not sure about Mercedes' driver order yet but normally the new driver to the team gets the higher number)

Sauber/ Ferrari
11 Nico Hulkenberg
12 Esteban Gutierrez

Force India/ Mercedes
14 TBC
15 TBC
(likey candidates, Paul di Resta, Jules Bianchi, Adrian Sutil, Jaime Alguersuari)

Williams/ Renault
16 Pastor Maldonado
17 Valtteri Bottas

Toro Rosso/ Ferrari
18 Daniel Ricciardo
19 Jean-Eric Vergne
(not sure on STR's driver order considering Vernge outscored Ricciardo in the driver's championship)

Caterham/ Renault
20 Charles Pic
21 TBC
(likey candidate, Giedo van der Garde)

Marussia/ Cosworth
22 Timo Glock
23 TBC
(likey candidate, Max Chilton)

????
24 ????

Rumors are, Bottas contract with Williams is going to be official today.

I sure as am!

[Frontrunner]

Bottas in for next year. I will have to update my last post. He does seem to be very good from what i've been hearing. Looking forward to see how it plays out for him next year.

Frontrunner you job theif!

[What's Burning?]

Excellent. Time to see him humiliate Maldonado.

Maldonado was doing a fine job at that all by himself.

Senna

[vlad]

Senna didn't do well, this was expected. Now, if I was in Vijay's place, watch this crazy pairings:
Kobayashi - Alguersuari
Di Resta - Kobayashi
Di Resta - Alguersuari.

Personally, I don't think that Di Resta is improving the way he should be. He is stuck on the same level, Nico has beaten him, even with much less experience in that car. I wouldn't like to see Sutil back, his time is... well, just gone...

To be fair, so have Kobayashi and Alguersuari.

[vlad]

Alguersuari was the best Torro Rosso driver after Vettel, tbh. Look at his points, and look current team points.
And Kobayashi is just too aggressive for these tires. Or, better to say, tires are too short-lifed for him.
