Did anyone else find the race sort of meh? I just couldn't get interested in the event at any point throught out the weekend. I mean I only watched the final 10 minutes of qualifying and then switched off immediately. I had the race on yesterday but after the first corner I only half watched it. How odd.

Well, each to their own.

It was a bloody exciting race IMO.

I posted before the race but after Q that I felt the advantage RB had in Q would not be present in the race. The RB has their DDRS working very well which pays off big time in Q but has very limited value during the race.

IMO the McLaren was the fastest car on the circuit during the race.

and that's the big worry for the scuderia this coming weekend, Alonso was 30+ seconds behind that's a lot of pace to make up.

Realistically SF will be pushing sh1t uphill with a matchstick trying to win in Brazil, but, just like their whole season, they will give it everything they've got. Nando was able to put in FL's at the end of the race. Most significantly, Felipe had most FL's towards the end of the front-runners. Bearing in mind that he was running a different car (diffuser) it is probably fair to say Nando didn't make the right choice there.

In reality, at this point in the season, the Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull are very close in race trim with the Red Bull having a significant edge in Q. That makes for an interesting race in Brazil, and, is one of the very few things that gives Nando the slightest of glimmers of hope to win the WDC this year.

You know who'd be given the pleasure of that task.

You won't feel the same way if you've been earning this sort of figure for the past 10 years!

That's the spirit! :whip:

Not sure I meant to spark all this off, but, thinking about it, if you consider that in Italian a car is female, then, although J's tongue might start in a dubious location, uphill is a good thing :hehe:
