I have just booked my trip to montreal the hotel is $279 for 3 nights for me and my lad and the flight is £134 RETURN each...........cant wait can anyone let me know were a good spec is cos i have never been.......... cheers

It was $279 per twin room for 3 nights with a 24hr bar? i will get the details off my pc when i get home from work and post them......

flights worked out a bit more i forgot to add the taxes which work out to about another £260 for the two us us but still works out a good price...

Great deal, our flights are more and the hotel for us is about £350 for 3 nights. That's a 5 star and we took the gamble of booking before the F1 date was confirmed, now its that just for 1 night.

got shafted by canadianaffair.com flights were ok but the changed my hotel price after a few arguments iam now sorted and have a rented house instead if anyone is interested in staying there got an extra double room which is available for $500CAD FOR 4 NIGHTS its about 4 miles from the circuit we will split the cost of any food we buy and oh yes the beer
i need to know by the 28thof feb if anyone interested

ist called making sure every one gets sorted
when we travel europe with the football if there are people were we are with no were to stay they bunk in with us .... maybe its just a northen thing....

we paid $1200cad cos there were 4 going and 2 dropped out simple as that.....
have never been to gp and going by the price going up in hotels its like when we went to istanbul 2005 cost £750 for flight i thought it was just footbell were you get ripped..................
but any way not asking for any money but if some one is going and wants to stay they can go 50/50 with us but dont have to pay till there there

All very well saying you can pay when you're there but it's gonna cost money in itself to get there...

I guess that mean's I would not be staying at your flat deMuRe when I make a trip to jolly ol' London . I guess the weight now fall's on Stephen :lol: so you better get those security camera's installed and ready for next year Stephen :shock: !!!

I think that is a very generous offer from scousers and just because he has only 9 post mean's nothing. I know of a few forum member's, other forum's, who just like lurking and reading and have less than 100 post in 4-5yr's on a particular forum. Also dont forget Sam you had less than 100 post and had only been a member for 8 day's, while scousers had been a member 20 day's more than you, when I started your sponsorship thread. Who's trusting who now?

If I could afford to join you I would but thank for the invitation . Also Montreal is a great track and awesome city. They say Montreal is as close to going to europe as you can get without having to leave the continent, hell they have smoke shop's/cafe's in Montreal! Hell I would think I was back in Amsterdam:

i would have told you were i live and who i worked for (even my mums address) so you could have checked.....

I have had a few offers already from mates who will go even though they have never watched a gp in there life.

if anyone has any pics or info on montreal i can you send me them so i can see what its like "i am buzzing already and its weeks away"

not into the smoke shops/cafe`s but my brother in law who is going with me will be pleased

not got my tickets for race yet need some advise.... i will get 3 day pass but a bit on money limit and so is general admission ok or is it worth paying the extra for grandstand

also if any of you lads are going we would love to meet up with you for a beer... you could even come and see our house!
