Merc had a strange race, Schumacher qualifying so well and the Rosberg catches him from so far back by midway! Don't know what those guys are testing out, but hopefully it all pays off to welcome Formula 1 Numero Uno next year.

Apparently Niki Lauda on German TV is talking about Lewis's win and then going on to say that Mercs have a surprise for us all next year, hmm 2009 all over again.

Lauda's got a big mouth mate, but their strange setup choices and strategy in the past couple of races does show 20/20 vision on 2013 IMO.

What a race. That victory was well-deserved after all the troubles Lewis has had this year. For a second I really did think that Vettel would come out of that with a puncture, but I'm glad he didn't. Seems Ferrari made the right call with the Massa penalty, but I'm really glad to see Massa having such a strong race, likewise with Button. I really enjoyed watching this, although I do wonder if it will be as good next year when Pirelli will, presumably, bring softer tyres...

So, on to Brazil. I think the weather will determine who comes out of that as champion.

Congratulations to Red Bull for a third straight WCC title.
