If they have any sense, they'll buy them to run as a B-Team. McLaren will likely have one next year, Red Bull have one, why not Honda? It's basically what SA are anyway.

And it's not without precedent for a midfield team with money to buy a backmarker, keeping their staff in jobs and ensuring a bigger entry list and themselves a B-Team, the aforementioned Red Bull did just that with Minardi/Torro Rosso

To be fair, Super Aguri are a B-team and have always been so. Although Honda don't own Super Aguri outright, they pump a lot of money in, expect Super Aguri to test parts, and seem to have a Godfather-like presence in the company's dealings. Only a few weeks ago Honda were saying they wanted Super Aguri to retain the services of Anthony Davidson to give them good feedback in testing.
Then we agree. :)
