I hope he loves that new golf course so much, he moves over there permanently. Keep him.

We don't want him!

Sadly, if you have enough money you can bully people out of their homes and totally ruin a SSSI. I'm hoping the planned offshore wind farm that he is so against goes ahead. He is not a very nice person, to say the least.

Be interesting to see what happens, is it a joint approach by the states or are they doing it their own way seperately?

Yeah to the 'joint' approach :hehe:

lmao, totally unintentional. For once I was trying to be serious, are they going by the same legislation?

Kyrsten Sinema actually won her congressional (9th district) seat in Arizona. She's an openly bi-sexual atheist! :thud:

As if that wasn't amazing enough this is the same district that Joe Arpaio is the Sheriff of.

I thought that race is not yet called b/c of preliminary ballots and early ballots still being counted?

Just admit it, when you signed up on here you 'forgot' the 'd' in your user name :hehe:

Interesting tidbit of information.

Barack Obama becomes only the fourth president going back a century that's been re-elected for a second term while getting over 50% of the popular vote both times. The others? Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight D Eisenhower and Ronald Regan.

Was this election more of a case of the American people having no better choice than Obama rather than Obama being the better candidate? Since Romney just looked like a pathological liar to me...but I don't live there and don't follow it so much, so your opinions would be interesting.

I tried reading through posts here but if your answers were in them, they were very indirect to me.

Obama is way better than anything the GOP could muster at the moment. And what the republicans came up with this time around (the 9 stooges early on) was absolutely pathetic.

In the good, better, best realm of how marketing develops its products. Obama is good. Then again, I'm a self described socialist living in the US. :hehe: Socialist as in your garden variety Scandinavian citizen or a center left leaning European, nothing loony.

Obama is a bit too much to the center for my taste, but if he wasn't, he'd have had no chance for (re-)election. My hope is that since he won't be running for office again, he'll be able to do much good in terms of social issues in his second term. Good old school socialist hope here...
How about taking weed off the federal list of controlled substances for a start? Two states voted yes for that for fook's sake!
