Right out of the Wikipedia site;
With such declared policies as balancing the federal budget, a firm pro-choice stance on abortion, expansion of the war on drugs, ending outsourcing of jobs, opposition to gun control, belief in protectionism on trade, advocating the Environmental Protection Agency and enacting electronic direct democracy via "electronic town halls,"

Doesn't seem very right wing to me.. as a matter of fact, today he'd be a basic Democrat.

You're excused for such a view because today's GOP is ruled by fascistoid right wing nutcases, so Perot almost looks sane in comparison. :rolleyes:

My how times change. Anyway... Sherrod Brown or Bernie Sanders for Presidet if it was up to me.

Ah yes, good old Bernie - a good egg unlike the F1 Bernie. :whip:

Also...

The legalization of Pot for recreational use in the state of Colorado and Washington. :yikes:

I don't live in either state... :hehe:

I know people that do. Can you Fed Ex pot out of state? Tourism is going to spike!

Be interesting to see what happens, is it a joint approach by the states or are they doing it their own way seperately?

One more footnote.

Tammy Baldwin becomes the first openly gay US Senator. :clap:

Better late than never! :thumbup:

Don't speak too soon; the US government will remove her and say they need time to acclimatize to the idea! :rolleyes: "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" anyone?

Glad about the election results. :thumbup:

I watched the 3rd debate between Obama and Romney on youtube...highly engaging and loved the way Obama made Romney look like a clueless liar.
