Seems like a dodgy fuel pump for Hamilton. Apparently this part is supplied by Mercedes.

As you like to badger others, SOURCE PLS?

McLaren said it was an electronics glitch, this has nothing to do with fuel pumps.

Really entertaining race, including the post race interviews.

Top award for the race goes to Kimi for his radio work

Bible-mouth drove an excellent race, he went a long way to show he's not just a lead from the front kinda driver.

Nando was again out there taking every half opportunity that came his way.

My biggest take-away from this race is the concern that might be creeping into the McLaren thoughts. It was so clear over this weekend that the McLaren had as big an advantage over all the other teams. Given the McLaren was just so much faster than anything else, it must be a huge concern that their next year #1 driver could only manage 4th with that beast under him and their #2 driver yet again cocked-up.

But someone said earlier that it was an electrical fault, did they not??

During the race McLaren statement was an electronics glitch which caused the engine to shut off. Now it's a fuel pump, which is not even connected. Those guys probably don't even know what caused the failure and just bleating out whatever comes to mind.
