Damn ALonso is a lucky son of a gun.....its official, Vettel starts last or from pitlane.

He wasn't lucky in Spa or Japan

Japan was his own mistake of not using his mirrors. Vettel wasn't lucky in Valencia either so it equals out in the end....but somehow not for Alonso. :irked:

This wasn't a random event though, or Force Majure (sp) would apply, this is a chicken up by Redbull. You seem happy enough to point out McLaren's chicken ups.

Of course it was a stupid mistake by Redbull...but I don't care about their idiocy, Hamilton doesn't drive for them does he.

Damn, I don't understand how first McLaren and now Red Bull can make such a stupid mistake...
Well, rules are rules. Back of the grid, on a hard overtaking track. If he scores points, I'll be really happy.

Sorry, didn't realise your F1 world revolves around Hamilton, perhaps you'd be better of on http://www.LewisHamilton.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, rather than an all round F1 site.

Will he be able to start on primes? If not, they should start him from the pitlane...primes at the start is the only way to go. Unless they revamp that car and set it up to overtake, there's 2 DRS zones here after all.

Take some training on how to operate links in an all round F1 site first before trying to act like a smartass.

Maybe you could find a good doctor for yourself? How about that?

Well it's official and the best news i've heard all day, perhaps this will give a chance to the most deserving driver this year to win the WDC instead of the one trick pony that is Vettel and red bull.:rofl:

I wouldn't bet against the red bull car being illegal for the last three races but it's to late in the season to question it.

I' m not a Alonso man but i do respect a top driver when in see one.

Have a nice evening. :wavey:

Perhaps you'd like to respond to the content of the argument, rather than it's presentation?

He stopped 2 corners from home massive fail by RBR

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel has been disqualified from qualifying at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will start from the back of the field.
The title leader, who had qualified third, did not have enough fuel in his car for a fuel sample to be taken.
Vettel stopped his car out on the track on his way back to the pits at the end of the session, as McLaren's Lewis Hamilton had done in Spain in May.
It promotes his title rival Fernando Alonso of Ferrari to sixth on the grid.
Vettel heads into the race with a 13-point lead over the Spaniard after winning the last four races.
The decision gives Alonso a golden opportunity to make up some of the ground he has lost in the championship following a major step forward in performance made by Red Bull since the Singapore Grand Prix at the end of September.
When Hamilton started at the back at the Spanish Grand Prix, after qualifying on pole by more than half a second, he made it back up to eighth by the end of the race.
Hamilton starts from pole position, ahead of Red Bull's Mark Webber.
Williams's Pastor Maldonado will start third, ahead of Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen, McLaren's Jenson Button and Alonso.
The F1 rules require the car to return to the pits with at least one litre of fuel on board - running less fuel gives a performance advantage.
The rule - article 6.6.2 of the technical regulations - dictates that cars must make their way back to the pits under their own power but says that exceptions may be made in cases of force majeure.
More to follow.

Plus he got outqualified by Mark in a heavier car.

You know, I'm not 100% sure. Technically, his fastest time is no longer recognised, so I wouldn't have thought he'd be bound by that rule any more (unlike with a grid-drop for a gearbox or something). I can't remember what Lewis did in Spain, however.

If he'd made it back to the pits he'd have been disqualified anyway...
