Most people believe Ferrari is going to win and winning or first place is all that matters in racing so looks like we Tifosi can look forward to another end of year "We are the Champions Party"

What i do not give a rats arse about is whether or not you will be laughing at my expense.

I would cry, or at least be very miserable if and only if Ferrari lost to McLaren or if McLaren were in front of Ferrari in the championship standings. If of course Ferrari lost to another team I wouldn't care at all. Umm I better be careful because I bet you'll be laughing it up at me if McLaren happen to get lucky.......

I have no idea

But seriously, I can understand not liking another team as much as the one that you support, but hatred? I find it hard to justify hatred's place within Formula 1. If you look at events of the past, such hatred has ruined sports like football, so we shouldn't let it ruin Formula 1 as well. Otherwise it'll be just another sport that isn't worth bothering with... :(

I don't do anything with that so called hatred that would damage the sport. Ie I don't go to the GPs and act like a hooligan. If my team looses to the rival team McLaren, yes I get sad and shitty but I keep to myself and stay mute. Cannot cause the sport any damage that way. Rivalaries exist in other motorsports as well. For example in the Australian version of touring car racing which is called the V8 Supercars, it is basically Ford Vs Holden (Holden is General Motors in Australia) and the hardcore supporters and followers of that sport, the Ford Fans hate Holden and vice versa. But like I said no one acts like a hooligan like in football so no damage to the sport occurs. In fact with the V8 Supercars it is supposed to be all about the Ford Vs Holden rivalary. Apparently Australians love this. Understandable. Most Ferrari tifosi in Italy consider McLaren the arch rival of Ferrari and do not like McLaren much the same way Ford Fans do not like Holden and vice versa. It is all part of being a tifosa I guess or a hardcore fan. As long as there is no hoolaganism and violence, then no harm will be done to the sport.

Oh, I never said you did or that you would. :)

However, in other sports, it's the kind of behaviour that leads up to it. Only a few individuals actually go further than that, but when you consider the fact that there are so many fans of the sports, a few can turn out to be a lot of people. That said, I wouldn't expect any of the people here to go any further than taking the occasional dig at another team.
