Sounds like Vijay is considering Suthil to replace Hulk.

I always rated Suthil as a driver. I think he'd be at least as good as Di Resta.

He's definitely better than Di Resta...and his form during his time in FI was better than the Hulk. Though I think Hulk has more potential to realize.

Sutil could do very good, again, unless he decides to go on a manhunt with a broken bottle... :hehe:

That just sounded like some over exaggeration by that Renault crybaby....I mean, it was practically a flesh wound and he acted like he got stabbed. I'm sure Sutil did not just go at him intending harm, there was definitely some provocation involved. Doesn't let Sutil off the hook completely of course, but a heavy fine would've done...trying to screw his career up is just too much.

I defended him back in the day knowing that it was only a crybaby Renault guy, be a man and act like one, don't go crying to everyone about a little wound.

But, I can't forget how Hamilton "ignored" Sutil after that, when he needed him to testify on the court. I think that hurt Sutil even more...
But back on topic, I'm totally a fan of the idea that Sutil will return.

If you were Hamilton, I dont think you would've been stupid enough to mix yourself up in that. Lewis had zero choice...back up a friend and risk being an 'accomplice' which means he could have been kicked out as well, or just keep quiet and distance himself which he did.

In circumstances as such, it was lose a friend or lose your career and in such instances if you don't mind losing your career which you worked all your life for, go ahead and help your friend.

I know, that's why there's no real friends in F1.

There's another side to that situation. We don't know what happened in that nightclub, but if there was any intent on Suthils part to cause damage, even if the extent of the damage was accidental, and Lewis knew this; then he would have to have lied in court to protect his friend or tell the truth and implicate Suthil further. So he chose to say nothing. And I imagine there was huge pressure from Mclaren to do this.

How is one driver taking any blame for an altercation in a night club another driver was involved in?
