I must totally agree with that, Andrew!:clap::drink:

Well I think the reason is that unlike the Lewis thread, there's no one that makes their primary presence on the site on the Vettel thread saying how unworthy he is or how he's unable to win unless he's got a dominant car or how his fans are fair weathered fans...

You know, stuff like that.

I mean I'd be embarrassed to call myself a fan and spend most of my time bad mouthing the other guy's thread. There is dignity still. :hehe:

Perhaps going forward for the 2013 season we can all establish new habits?

Leading every lap of the Indian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel has now lead 205 consecutive laps since the Singapore Grand Prix.
He surpassed Mark Webber (159 laps), Kimi Räikkönen (162), Jim Clark (165) and Nigel Mansell (195) in the all-time list of most consecutive laps in the lead.
Only Ayrton Senna (one run of 237 laps, another of 267 laps) and Alberto Ascari (305) are ahead still.

A true fan. Thank you, I think that record is in its infancy based on the Red Bull performance we saw today.

I thought he had already beaten Senna? Or did I read that wrongly from somewhere else.

Anyway, well done to Vettel...Horner + Newey + Vettel is a fantastic package no doubt about it. Next year might be a free ride for them from the beginning since I only see Ferrari as a threat...and Ferrari has lost their development prowess ever since Todt and Brawn's departure.

Ferrari apparently also lost an entire wind tunnel... I think they've found it again now and may put it to use next year. I'm with you on the top tier fight next year being between Red Bull and Ferrari unless Mclaren build the monster they'll need to win.

Well, tbh, Ferrari will put the most hard work over the winter. They just need to catch Red Bull and McLaren. Next season could be even closer than this one. ;)

Btw, I just saw the calender, 20 new challenges for 2013. :D

All hail the greatest driver in Formula One at present. :drink:

That kind of drive, whilst starting off tacky, was the stuff of legends. If this is what ultimately leads to Vettel securing a legendary 3 titles, well I have no arguments about that. A masterclass drive that you would expect from a triple world champion! His records and driving class really speak for themselves now, along with a wonderful character despite letting the frustrations of Grand Prix Racing sometimes get to him...

We have witnessed a new legend, although Alonso will surely grace that book of Triple World Champions eventually....

And what was it how the saying goes? He can't overtake? He can only win from the front?
Well, this 3rd place counts like a win in my book
