India is an atrocious circuit, once they get past turn 5 you know that there will be no overtaking until turn 3 on the next lap.

Bit harsh. :D

It's ok but it doesn't really stand out. It's a bit like Turkey - 1 or 2 decent corners and the rest is a bit sort of meh.

Exciting race! Well done to Redbull and Newey for another fantastic win with Vettel.

Thanks to Button and his usual productive self in trying to mix it with the big boys, Alonso gets a free shot at both McLarens and drives a sterling race to 2nd place.

Well done to Webber and Hamilton for a great finish...exciting stuff and it was pure grit vs pure speed, McLaren were 3rd best today and Lewis delivered what that car could do.

Don't forget to add compliments for Hulk and Romain. ;)

And yes, well done to all top 10 finishers, starting with Vettel and down do the last point scorer. I'm just sorry that Hamilton lost so much time in 1st stint and couldn't get in the mix with Webber and Alonso in time. That would be great. :)

Yeah, happy for Hulkenburg, he's showing who's the real deal in Force India when it matters now!

I have to say a fantastic drive by Alonso, but I fear it's too little too late for them and for the Scuderia. The next fight to move our focus on will be the WCC.

I'm going out on a what I think is a pretty stout limb and say congratulations to Sebastian Vettel for being the youngest 3 time WDC.

Yep, Seb is in a very strong position now, handy lead and fastest car is something he has proven brilliant at turning into championships. Still, one race or one part could turn it all around.

Top drive from Nando, he is just so very impressive and consistent. Hulk's drive was extremely impressive.

Not sure how McLaren will be feeling about their driver line-up for next year. Jenson just isn't in the class of the absolute top drivers and for sure Sergio isn't there yet either. It will be the first time in a long time McLaren will go into a season without at least one of the best drivers in the field behind the wheel of at least one of their cars.

I'm heading off to the Magneti Marelli factory to changes labels on some select parts from 2012 to 2011 and vica-versa.

Seen a lot of Tilke-bashing on twitter and here, but come-on guys, I think a lot of it is not down to the actual circuit, IMO. Everyone knew what Vettel would do once he got pole, and to be honest, I was a bit miffed, because I think this circuit deserved a proper good race.

Clearly, for some people, the great racing has to occur at the very front, or it's boring for them. But there was some excellent racing, especially between the champs on the first lap.

Has there been an outcome to the Kobi / Maldo incident?

RBR look like they're in a good position for the remainder of the season. I hope the emerging dominance doesn't take the shine off the first USA Grand Prix, but I can image the Tilke-bashing if Vettel wins dominantly...

hen will people learn that it's the cars not the tracks that are the problem! :banghead:

This track isn't spectacular but it's ok.

IMO, it's certainly not as bad as folk make it out to be. Seen some very harsh comments on twitter.

Thought Alonso had a great race today. I actually hope he wins this championship. Still not over imo.
Well done Lewis on a very decent drive today. Easily beating McLarens No.1. :hehe:
