I see Susan Boyle has handed back her Jim'll fix it badge in disgust at the allegations about Jimmy Saville.

She was totally shock, horrified and distraught that he never laid a finger on her!

The paper had 3 of his alledged victims in a report. There were photos of them from the 60's and photos of them now. The headline read "Now then now then now then".

Police were called to a cemetery in Leeds last night after local residents reported hearing the sound of clanging metal.

Turned out it was just Jimmy Saville turning in his grave.

Deliberately would be an incorrect term. Certainly i was not acting deliberately, just having fun. You should know by now threads go off topic here with people joking about, look at the Button thread FFS!

As long as people aren't being pricks to each other we cannot be expected to police things like threads going off topic in lighthearted ways, surely. If anyone expects that, then this isn't the forum for them. That is the way it has always been here, in my 5+ years posting and 3+ years modding anyway.

I didn't think so, but it was important to confirm my position (and that of how things are run here) to avoid doubt and controversy, given that i technically posted off topic as did several other people including other mods. Perhaps stating the obvious here, but if you want to get back on topic feel free to post something topic related to try and get the thread back on topic anyway, that's usually my own tactic as i'm sure is evidenced in other threads...
