yeah nothings ever black and white and thats why i believe its not beyond the realms of all possibilty...who really knows? maybe the truths about "The Mclaren Days" from 2007-2012 will come out in a book 15 years from now. I'm still sticking to what i believe....and we still have 4 races to go so maybe the plot will thicken.

I'm afraid that book will come out pretty soon, like next year already, judging from the release date of his first one

I read that first book of his cos i saw it on sale for like 50 pence in HMV or somewhere a few years back and must admit it was pretty terrible...but saying that he was still a very young man at that point in time so we cant really expect his ideas on life to be that illuminating. I hope he doesn't bring another one out yet...i think in 15 years time when he has gained a little more wisdom his insight into life at mclaren might be a good read.

You have a lot of inside information about mclaren, hamiliton and ron dennis. Pretty awesome.

Just own it already. Mclaren has been duckling and there is nothing that Lewis or Jenson can do about it. This taking on a new challenge BS by Lewis is just smoke and mirrors. He left because he's pissed about not having a winning car. Fair enough, but he should have pursued Red Bull. He should have said listen, I'll give you (mclaren) one more year, sign a one year contract, or whatever the time frame is with webber's contract ending. They have their stuff together, and I don't believe for a damn minute that they give Vettel priority over webber. They may towards then end if there is a clear victor to come but not to start with.

Jenson isn't going to get mclaren to mold around him with perez either. So enjoy your golden boy getting smashed by Mclaren and Co. If Schumi and Rosberg are barley keeping their head above sauber and being demolished by the Lotus, Ferrari, Mclaren, and Redbull i don't see what lewis is going to be able to do. Hey maybe he can get a 2009 championship-like-season too.

I think we're seeing Lewis's true colors, and frankly I'm disappointed in him. I supported him and Jenson and the team since 2010 when I started really watching this sport. I went back and watched the 2008 and 2009 series. I saw them both on top gear, love their personalities and I loved all the little promos they did with mclaren.

You can keep believing in some conspiracy. :hehe:

You're joking right? you believe that they wouldn't be able to find time and resources to make the performance of the car worse?
Fair enough. Can't see it being too difficult myself at all to be honest with you and they will have plenty of opportunities to do so.

No You have got to be joking that a multi-million dollar company is going to waste millions in developement because they want to play high school drama. god, you people are insane. Listen to yourself.

My point was that i think that finding a time to make adjustments to the car wouldnt be so hard to do in the whole grand scheme of things. I've said my reasons why i believe it's possible and if you believe it's insane thats up to you. I don't think it's insane and if f1 history has taught us anything its that backroom politics, favouritism, tension, breakdown in relationships, scandal, making decisions based on emotion and things of the like are nothing new.

"After the race, Kobacrashi, sorry Kobyashi, said on Twitter that he was sorry he caused the incident, which was nice "

Did NoGrip tweet this or was this during an interview? I just saw it as a quote in another site and was wondering where it's from.

I've just watched the race. Despite the predictable result, the racing itself was really good. Some good battles all the way up the field.

What happend to the Arrows avatar? I don't like your current one. At least have Alain Prost in the McLaren! :gonnagetit:

Aye but you rarely have a decent one. In fact the Arrows one is the only one I liked.

Well, we always did disagree on the teams / drivers aspect of F1. But hey-ho, opposites attract

F1 might have a dodgy history but people only ever did those things to gain an advantage or win a championship, look at crash gate was there to win a season. Why would McLaren ever want to waste millions of pounds in R&D, building a car, man power hours, materials etc so they can sabotage their only driver shoo had any chance of winning a WDC? The logic is flawed because they have no gain.

but it does highlight how woefully badly the team have performed and how fractured the team appears ; that such theories are considered so widely.

Says more about those making the claims.
Bring on 2013 and the new theories and outlandish claims for finishing in the midfield.

I'm looking forward to it already, it will provide great entertainment in-between the races. The summer break won't ever be boring again... :)
