Guys, Vettel won't leave Red Bull as long as he's wining titles, remember that.

Well the BBC were right about Hamilton. But Im sure you know best.

Hamilton didn't wind WDC since 2008, right? Vettel is on the road to win the 3rd in a row. Would it be logical to leave the wining team?

Well seeing as neither of us know how his brain works, who knows. Maybe he is happy with 3xWDC and just wants the prestige of driving for Ferrari. Maybe he wants to emulate Schumacher and go to Ferrari and help restore it to its former glory and over take Schumacher as the greatest ever F1 driver. And maybe he doesn't want to do that with a drinks company....?

My point is, only a fool would say they know 100% what is going to happen....

Hamilton would be making moves to get that RB seat and leave Merc if he does go I think!

That was my first thought.

Well, insinuations are always there. But, I believe Seb is staying in Red Bull, at least for 2-3 more seasons.

I'm not so sure he would. Wasn't the whole point of his move to Mercedes a belief that they'd have a good car in 2014?

Hmm.

Don't think he would you know. I think he wants to build up Mercedes to a winning team. going to Red Bull would just be emulating Vettel. also, and I think this is in Vettels mind, Ferrari and Mercedes may be the only two in house engine and car teams in 2014. Lewis has signed this deal for the long term, he'd be silly to jump ship after one year.

I think Vettel / Alonso pairing would be great for the sport!

Neither of them play well with talented team mates, so we could see some real tension.....

Vettel and Alonso would not be a good pairing. Alonso will want a lap dog and Vettel (who will hopefully have 3 or 4 titles to his name by 2014) will not be wanting to do that.

And that's why it'd be so fun to watch. See who breaks first.

Didn't Montezemolo say he doesn't want 2 roosters in his hen house?? What's this talk about Vettel and Ferrari then...did he suddenly lose his rooster capabilities and become a hen? Or has Montezemolo seen hen-like characteristics in Alonso starting to pop out and decided he'd need a rooster soon? :hehe:

I don't think it wouldn't be allowed to get that far. Since 1996 Ferrari have nearly always had one stronger and one weaker driver. I can't see them changing this. The there is Alonso and his huge bag of Spanish gold calling the shots. Besides, Luca di Monty has rubbished these rumours.

To be honest I think it's just The BBC speculating, and hoping they are on a role after the Hamilton reveal.
