Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far it's only been Lewis and Vettel who've always made Q3 this season?

I believe you are wrong. I believe Vettel was only 11th on the grid in China. I believe h******* is the only driver to hit Q3 every race this year so far.

Webber's on pole 8-)

All is right in the world for tonight.

All is right until the second lap of tomorrow, when Webber hears a crackle in his radio, followed by ......"vettel is faster than you......."?

Mercedes got fined 10000euros for unsafe release of Nico.

and an interesting snippet, the 6th row of tomorrow's grid is Mclaren's 2013 line up.

Guys, there will be NO team orders in Red Bull, Mark is still in the title fight. However, I don't understand the hatred towards Vettel and saying that he's moaning... They are ALL moaning, it's their job to do so. And, knowing how lazy Webber is off the line, he will be passed by at least 2 cars before the first corner. You all know it and you've all seen it many times happening. The best start could be done by Mercedes or Ferrari engine, that means Hamilton, Alonso or Massa.

Luca di Monty is always moaning about other teams thinking of something they didn't and trying to get it banned these days. :whip:

Luca?

Couple of things... for all of the conspiracy about McLaren purposely sabotaging Lewis' car, can we drop it? Please?

Second, for all the Hamilton can't set his car up or keeps making mistakes with his car set up, or isn't able to give the feedback to his engineers Button can, can we drop it? Please?

We'll see if Button can put his car behind Hamilton tomorrow, or beat him, the way Lewis has been able to do every time he's had a mistake or set back in Qualifying... as Brundle apparently has said, a podium is possible for Button tomorrow. Perhaps he's expecting Lewis to DNF with a mysterious failure once again?:hehe:

Does anyone expect Webber to beat Vettel tomorrow? Really?

Lastly... and no need to belabor things since it's just my opinion. The reason I dislike Vettel, as good a driver as he is, is that he's greedy, he's a whiner AND a sore loser. Last week, he wanted the grand slam and against the wishes of his team, he goes out for fast lap. He isn't satisfied with merely winning, IMO it's a big personal flaw of his. Today, he doesn't get pole, that honor goes to Webber... what does he do? I'm going to whine on the interview about how it's Massa's fault because he missed getting a good run at the beginning of his last flying lap. STFU and take it like a man and beat Webber tomorrow... but to complain about other drives the reason he does when things don't go his way is the sole reason why I will never support the guy.

Lastly... next year in the same situation, McLaren will have had both cars out in Q3. and to be fair, Lewis will be somewhere in the third or fourth row. :hehe:

Just watched on BBC iPlayer. Pretty good session, and it could really be a damn good race tomorrow potentially. Vettel is the straight up favourite but i think all the top 5 have the raw pace, it's close.

Did anyone watch FP and form any theories on who has good race pace?

McLaren and Ferrari had better race pace than Red Bull

Massa better really act as a rear gunner then, his job is to keep Grosjean away from Alonso! But this is the first time in a while that Kimi has started in front of Grosjean, so Grosjean needs to be more careful than usual.

Honestly, I don't see any doubt that if need be, Webber will be told to move over for Vettel, we all saw what happened at Sliverstone 2011 and 2010. But Hamilton may start well, and get in front of Vettel.

I wouldn't say Vettel was moaning, far from it. He looked like he was going to get pole and then got held up by I think Massa. His team should have been telling him he was loikely to get stuck but seemingly they didn't. Quite understandable if he was annoyed but he looked more bemused than anything else.
