I wonder now if they are gonna nick Lewis for that dodgy incident in the pits with Schumi. Good grief, the kid just can't catch a break...have a clean weekend!

I'm just saying...

wel he didn't really do anything wrong, you can race in the pit lane so long as you don't endanger anyone, and that Mercedes did pull out right in front of him.

It was Mercedes' fault for 'unsafe release', if anything they'd get penalized. Hamilton could put a case of 'avoiding collision'.

We've seen in the past that stewards take a dim view of pitlane passing when all four wheels are on the inside of the white line so I hope you're right that nothing comes of this.

Just saw vettel venting on the radio to his engineering, moaning about not being told that Webber was on a flying lap and beat him. Or along those lines.

Can someone pick his toys up please.

Massa was slower than Vettel, but both were on a flying lap, so Vettel should have dropped further back on his outlap.

I wonder what Big Azza thinks of this...since Hamilton's 'constant whining has annoyed him so much over the last 2 seasons'. :hehe:

I heard Vettel mention Massa on the radio and his engineer, if I heard correctly, said something like ......"Well what do you want me to say to that"

Oh ok, so he was moaning about massa being on his flying lap, but still being so slow to hold him up?

I understand now.

Yeah he should of backed off more I suppose. But not such a toys moment as I thought.

Congrats to Webber, really happy to see him win this little battle with Seb.

Excellent result for the Tifosi and plenty to look forward to in the race.

The more Massa keeps this up, the more I fear Hülkenberg will be stuck at Force India next season. :(

He's doing quite well lately, though. I do wish for him to have a strong finish to the season and maybe a return to form throughout next. Nice to see Webber on pole again, bit disappointed by Vettel's whining but meh, what can you do? I think tomorrow should be set for a good race, as Hamilton really needs to give it everything to get past Vettel if he wants a chance of winning the title.

Shame about Button not making Q3. I guess McLaren must be sabotaging him after he looked quick in P2 and P3...

Nope, making mistakes and getting caught by the yellow flag is what up, it's business as usual for no grip.

Should be interesting tomorrow; will Red Bull allow Mark Webber to win if Vettel is in second? The other two championship contenders, Alonso and Hamilton immediately behind, crash kid Grosjean in the middle of the top 10; "do you think that Massa will ask for a gearbox penalty to get away from Grosjean" - Martin Brundle, brilliant quote! And I'm sure that Button will make his way up the grid in the second fastest car on the grid; Button looked good in practice on the long runs, a podium is not unrealistic for Button with a little bit of luck going his way!

If it's a wet race, Button would even win by taking some of his trademark gambles with tyres. If it stays dry though, I just don't see it. In Suzuka he started 8th and finished 4th, even with Grosjeans help in eliminating 2 cars and Alonso eliminating himself...Button got the better of 1 car with his 'pace'.

Btw Mercedes fined 10000 euros for the pitlane stunt in Q3 with Schumacher.

Oh, of course. Only Button can perform badly. How silly of me to think otherwise.

Your words not mine but anyway it's like i said, silly mistakes and yellow flag is what's up with Button.Being to obsessed with beating Lewis and trying to live up to the British media hype from bbc f1 and the sky f1 no grip groupies.

Oh yeah...I remember Brundle and the other guy acting like the world ended when Button got kicked out of Q2. They sounded so depressed, it was funny. :hehe:

But yeah, fact is fact - Button made a mistake and it cost him.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far it's only been Lewis and Vettel who've always made Q3 this season?
