Mallya has an arrest warrant out for him for bouncing checks. I wonder if that will affect his team?

Looks like someone may be looking at a bargain basement purchase of an F1 team for 2013. You listening VAG?

I was at Pan Pacific hotel with a couple of mates in Msia in early 2000s when the teams came for the Msian race weekend...managed to spot Mallya in the lobby area, and as we walked past he was handing out credit cards to these 2 women (who looked liked strippers I swear) saying "Spend all you want", I mean no matter how loaded he is I don't think he's a very smart guy. Savvy maybe but not smart.

Aktien-Gesellschaft(hyphen mine) does not translate to Auto Group. I think that's what he meant by misconception. The A-G in VAG, translated to English, means joint stock company.

I doubt it will affect Force India too much as the rubber cheques are to do with Kingfisher not Force India. I believe that these are 2 seperate businesses, albeit with the same owner.

Yes; and half the team is now owned by Sahara; I doubt that Sahara would be happy if Mallya wasn't putting in his fair share of the funds.
