Very telling. :scratchchin:

Well that's all understandable, if I were leaving my job they wouldn't let me go and work in my new office until my work time is up. And Button was only following Hamilton to make sure he didn't tweet any more car setups.

I read an article earlier today saying that he's taken a sudden interest in the technical side of things. Don't really know what to make of that but it seems a bit odd if someone who is leaving the team for a competitor is privvy to what would be confidential information.

Yeah, but again that's what I would do if I were going to a rival company, however probably not one that has nurtured me since I was 12 and has been very good to me as an employer but hey-ho.

Business is business, there are no loyalties.

 NDA's and confidentiality agreements aside, good $#@!ing luck trying to prove he stole tech data if he keeps his mouth shut and just memorizes it.

This is Lewis Hamilton we're talking about right? That's not going to happen

Let's face it. McLaren isn't going to do much next year with Jenson as number 1.
They have no need to hide their data, as they won't be challenging for a championship anyway. :hehe:

Perez will be there, McLaren is still a threat for wins but yeah....Championship I think not, since they only exist for race wins.

Fantastic clip. It was the highlight of the race for me, and seeing the camera from Kimi's car is the icing on the cake, fantastic reflexes on his part indeed.

I registered in this forum just to say thank you this is an awesome clip and i am honestly a fan of McLaren since Hakkinen's days. but now it seems that I am torn between the macs and kimi's lotus. somehow my heart is broken that perez got the contract instead of kimi going back to macs. but yeah, read the reasons and maybe star schedule and kimi dont mix well. :D and i love how the guy said "kimi just doesn't care about other drivers." lololol which in my point of view is how a racer should be. team team my a$$, this is racing. you can't teach how to avoid a collision in cars running at those speeds over a season or two, it should've been with grojean's blood since lower tier racing but apparently he really cant be in f1.

I dunno, I get the feeling that in taking on Perez they've taken on someone to play the team game which will allow them to have a no. 1 driver and still have a 2nd driver good enough to take points off others. Lewis might've been BSing but he seemed to be suggesting Mclaren have something good for next year and if that's the case then they won't be wanting to throw that away with squabbles between the drivers.

I dont think so. I mean, not necessarily.

Perhaps he could have gone to Ferrari but was not willing to, as he was always looking for the terms he is in Mclaren (ie equal status)?

Only an inexperienced driver would be dreaming to get equal status in Ferrari after being 2 yrs in F1 and having never won a race.

I have to admit that when I saw Kimi steaming down the pit straight and Lewis coming out of the pits, I could see Kimi squeezing, Lewis trying to push wide and KABOOM! Great driving indeed!

Best bit of the race for me too.Lewis v Kimi. Two excellent experienced drivers going head to head and giving each other respect. Great racing!!!! Look and learn Pastor et al.

I think Perez was trying to make a point when he was battling with Lewis, but he just made himself look a bit silly.
