What a child he is. All drivers have their faults. Vettel, Alonso and Button have all justly received criticism for their attitude deficiencies... But out of the current pair at McLaren, I really admire Button for his professionalism. Even when Lewis does stupid things on twitter - do you ever notice that he just keeps his mouth shut?

I don't see Hamilton ever winning another title... In my opinion he is the new JPM of F1. I can't wait to see him in midfield next year...

And while I'm at it... All this talk of favouring at McLaren is . I've been avoiding this subject for some time. But as a completely neutral McLaren fan*, I honestly don't see it. Since when has Hamilton shown the consistency to warrant having his team mate throw all his support behind him anyway? McLaren's interests are in the constructor's championship. To slow down one champion to support another champion, would be foolish in their point of view for the constructor's championship.

This is much different to the situation at Red Bull. Vettel is a consistent driver compared with Webber. In 2010 the team made the right call to just let their drivers race... Knowing how slow Webber was off the grid.

No, I wrote it because the tendency here is to have a preponderance of bad mouthing which sets the ball rolling. If people wrote more in support of their drivers instead of going into a support thread and bad mouthing there, we'd have a relatively more peaceful environment. Don't feel offended by it, you're not the only one that exhibits the behavior in the least bit, it's simply the going out of your way to do so is what tends to get noticed.

So all I'm asking is for people to keep their eye on their own plate, it's not an unreasonable request to make.

I'm not offended by it; but you wrote that with my post in the "quote" box even though what you wrote wasnt exactly applicable to my post. So i guess i only answered to make the correction?

I know you have a fondness for Alonso, so just pointed it out, but there's a Vettel support thread too if you're more inclined.

The only thing i added to this thread was that despite the claim of Vettel doing the whining..... i basically said not really, he's actually the one doing the winning. Which is kinda true. So how's that badmouthing anyone instead of the claim about Vettel whining?

He switched who he supported but I believe it was Hamiltons attitude that annoyed BA, but what does it matter who someone supports?

Exactly why should he follow Hamilton? Just 'cos they're in the same team? I guess by that logic I should sign up to Twitter and follow everyone I work with.

You don't do the same job with them.And also I think it's a better impression that they follow each other.

To a large extent I do do the same job as everyone within the transit shed at work. Most people are trained up in all areas and can go where they are needed but as far as I'm concerned my work life is between 8am and 5pm and that's it. I feel no need to follow them on Twitter or Facebook.

You do not follow your teammate on Twitter. He is your main competitor. There are two separate teams in a front running F1 team. They do not share data. Ron is on one of those teams. He was on Senna's and Hakkinen's team. DC stood and offered his hand to Ron the first time he saw him after being hired, and Ron walked past DC without looking at him and asked Hakkinen's engineer what "we"(hakkinen's team) are doing this session. I don't know whether ron is on Jenson's team or Lewis' team. I don't think anyone here is really sure, but some rabid sheep fans of one or the other sure think they're sure.

You do however want to learn as much as you can about your future main competitor. So I guess following him on Twitter is a good a way as any other or will be one of many ways. For that reason I don't see following Perez and never having followed Lewis is any indication that Jenson doesn't respect or like Lewis and he likes Perez more. If so he would have followed Perez long ago. You don't really twitter follow someone you see every day anyway. That's like driving across the country with a 747 straped to the roof of your car. I know on other teams the drivers follow each other but that doesn't create the law. Doesn't make Jenson wrong for not doing it. Does Lewis follow Jenson? Either way no difference, just curious. A lot of this makes sense. Anyway, I think we'll find Button unfollowing Perez as soon as Perez starts outqualifying/outracing him next season anyway.

Hmm. I actually used to drive GP cars in the days when the engines were in front and if you crashed you probably died. I was a friend of Louis Chiron, Jim Clark and others so I feel I have a right to my opinion.

It is all so easy to pontificate about Grand Prix racing from your armchair.
