I think Lewis has a point.Maybe he shouldn't have tweeted and worsened the relationship.But..Jenson never followed Lewis but followed Perez instantly on the day we learned that he'll be in McLaren in 2013.I mean Jenson, aren't you working with Lewis, too? So why not do the same thing for him!

Well, for starters, Sergio tweets a lot more than Lewis. :P

And I suppose being in the same team, Jenson would already be aware of whatever data Lewis decides to tweet...

But Lewis isn't like '' I tweet once a week '' people.Alonso and Massa follows each other so that's no excuse,Jenson :fishslap:

Out of my point I think Perez started to be like Lewis:

Jenson is an all round decent guy without issues, Lewis on the other hand, I think he needs his daddy back in the fold.

This Twitter rant is "the" perfect example of why Lewis is such hard work. He may be fast but he has far, far to many issues to be a serious F1 driver.

Exactly why should he follow Hamilton? Just 'cos they're in the same team? I guess by that logic I should sign up to Twitter and follow everyone I work with.

You can not like the guy, but why does someone need to be likeable to be fast? Lewis is a cat when you compare him to the likes of drivers from yesteryear. If you think people are any different today you're delusional. The ONLY difference between drivers now is technology and everything they do and say is instantly available to millions of followers world wide, but their actions are no different.

I would love to have seen James Hunt or Ayrton Senna's Twitter Feed....

Could you imagine Aryton Senna on Twitter?

Jenson probably never bothered following Lewis, as team mates they already spend a lot of time with each other, they have all these joint briefings, data sharing and all the PR and sponsorship overlap from being British.

Or it might just be how Jenson and Lewis use twitter

Alonso and Massa probably don't interact that much, and probably want to see what the other one is up too, and in the off chance data is posted, Jenson already knows Lewis's setup data.

As someone commented on crash which I think sums it up:

"Something tells me Hamilton ain't a particularly bright individual."

What a child he is. All drivers have their faults. Vettel, Alonso and Button have all justly received criticism for their attitude deficiencies... But out of the current pair at McLaren, I really admire Button for his professionalism. Even when Lewis does stupid things on twitter - do you ever notice that he just keeps his mouth shut?

I don't see Hamilton ever winning another title... In my opinion he is the new JPM of F1. I can't wait to see him in midfield next year...

And while I'm at it... All this talk of favouring at McLaren is :bs: . I've been avoiding this subject for some time. But as a completely neutral McLaren fan*, I honestly don't see it. Since when has Hamilton shown the consistency to warrant having his team mate throw all his support behind him anyway? McLaren's interests are in the constructor's championship. To slow down one champion to support another champion, would be foolish in their point of view for the constructor's championship.

This is much different to the situation at Red Bull. Vettel is a consistent driver compared with Webber. In 2010 the team made the right call to just let their drivers race... Knowing how slow Webber was off the grid.

I think you're going way out on a limb by saying a lot; A lot of things that you really have no way of knowing. So effectively the above is you being emotional and fanatical. Yeah, it's a natural thing to say that a guy that's got the biggest global fan base in the sport and is arguably one of if not the best talent in the sport is never going to win a championship again... when you're a fan of the guy who complains... ACTUALLY COMPLAINED on team radio that he needed help in getting around a driver in front of him.

Whether you think Lewis is a smart guy or not it's irrelevant since talent and intelligence aren't co dependent to make a skilled F1 driver. However it's seemingly the ones that have the least amount of skill that have to be smarter. I've not once heard anyone complain that they didn't like Usain Bolt because he wasn't smart so why use that argument (a baseless argument) against an F1 driver? You come off as being petty at best.

Lewis has had one of the best performances of his career this year. He's lost out on more points whether from DNFs or team screw ups than anyone else in contention at the moment, IMO, Vettel is lucky this year to be where he is, because as a McLaren fan you'd have to admit that if McLaren had performed as well as their peers, or at least on par with the performance they've gotten from Lewis, they'd be ahead on both championships currently.

It's easy to bad mouth a guy you don't like. We all do it sometimes jokingly to get someone riled up, but it's hypocritical to criticize Lewis this year, keep in mind that when he has a car that's not to his suitability, he comes in right behind his team mate. Conversely, when his (very professional) team mate has a car that's not to his suitability, he comes in out of the points or five or six positions behind his team mate. So I suggest you take that into consideration the next time you post something.

This year if McLaren lose yet another WCC, it's on them, not on the driving of the "not so bright individual" Lewis Hamilton.
