Those teams are going to be the fastest this year I think (and their best driver followed):
1. Ferrari (Räikkönen)
2. McLaren (Hamilton)
3. Renault (Alonso)
4. BMW-Sauber (Kubica)
5. Toyota (Glock)
6. Williams (Rosberg)
7. Red Bull (Webber)
8. Force India (Fisichella)
9. Toro Rosso (Vettel)
10. Super Aguri (Sato)
11. Honda (Button)
What would your own ranking look like?
There'd definitely be some difference in mine.
1. Ferrari (Räikkönen, but Massa will start to catch him late into the season.)
2. McLaren (Hamilton at first, but soon Heikki will match him.)
3. BMW Sauber (Heidfeld and Kubica will start off pretty even, but it could go either way.)
4. Williams (Rosberg, as Nakajima will still need to build experience. He will, however, still be fast.)
5. Renault (Alonso for the first few races, but will soon be throwing tantrums as Piquet Jr. starts out-pacing him. Flav will then direct the resources more towards Fernando's car to compensate.)
6. Red Bull Racing (Webber, though it would be nice if DC was just as quick.)
7. Toro Rosso (Vettel and Bourdais will be fairly evenly matched, but Vettel might edge him due to knowing the car a little better.)
8. Honda (Hard to say - if the car is good, then Barichello will be more motivated and thus quicker than usual. If that is the case, even match. If it rains a lot, then it'll be Button and Honda might get a podium.)
9. Toyota (Glock)
10. Force India (Sutil, but Fisi will bring the car home in the points more often through experience.)
11. Super Aguri (Davidson, but due to funding issues, resources will be more in favour of Sato because of pressure from the Japanese public and sponsors.)
I don't see Toyota being able to out-pace Williams or Red Bull, and I think that the Hondas may be good enough to beat them this year. Super Aguri will still be at the bottom, since they're having to use a modified version of the RA107 and they won't be able to afford to keep up with development. I hope Anthony Davidson gets a new drive for 2009. It'd be great to see him driving for, say, Williams or Toro Rosso.
