"It wasn't particularly exciting but I think I got everything I could from the car," he said. "It's just a little bit strange, the car's behaviour this weekend, I had this understeer through qualifying and today was the same. I thought with the wind direction it would change but it started off the same as qualifying, so I was falling back from the grid and wasn't quick enough. Then all of a sudden I had this thud on the rear on lap 20 or something and all of a sudden the car started turning and after that I was able to push. I don't know why that was but we'll try to find out why."

I find this very interesting behavior from a technical point of view. A "thud" and suddenly you're able to start pushing again. :scratchchin:

Sometimes a :thud: is followed by a relieving :fart:

Yeah, I was just reading about that. Good quote.

Just as a point of clarification on my earlier rant ( :D ), I think. by all means, Lewis should continue to talk about what he is experiencing at McLaren, else, what would we have to look forward to for the rest of the year?

It's just the b.s. about leaving for a new "challenge," and all that crap. Nobody believes that, least of all him. That was getting irritating. But it's good to see that he has changed his tune, maybe somebody talked to him (and an excellent drive, btw, given all the circumstances). Oh well, on to the next "adventure."

Lewis, Lewis, Lewis.... I know you wear your heart on your sleeve, but this twitter business isn't doing your reputation wonders, especially in the realms of professionalism.

Kindergarten

I'm quite surprised to see he directed this at Jenson in such a public manner. Absolutely ridiculous, the parting of ways comes as a blessing for all concerned I think. People will be happier next year.

At least Lewis does it all up front instead of sneaking around in the background making comments like Jenson.

Jenson only follows drivers who he thinks he can beat. :hehe: Unfortunately for him, he's made a mistake 'following' Perez.

You gotta love him!

The only thing more entertaining would be Kimi getting a twitter account!

Bitchy soundbites. How childish. Kindergarten indeed.

I wouldn't call bitching about your team mate via Twitter upfront. He should man up and walk to the otherside of the garage and say what he has to say like "How dare you unfollow me on Twitter" (as if it matters! ).

I prefer to see a real-life person in Twitter rather than a PR washed-up item. I like Lewis even more now. He's just a young guy living life in the fast lane.

I think Lewis has a point.Maybe he shouldn't have tweeted and worsened the relationship.But..Jenson never followed Lewis but followed Perez instantly on the day we learned that he'll be in McLaren in 2013.I mean Jenson, aren't you working with Lewis, too? So why not do the same thing for him!

Well, for starters, Sergio tweets a lot more than Lewis. :P

And I suppose being in the same team, Jenson would already be aware of whatever data Lewis decides to tweet...
