Some really smart and also some REALLY stupid posts being seen here (fanboyism striking). Didn't you guys watch the Sky analysis? It was a clear bloody race incident! Suzuka is pretty tight track, especially when 3 or 4 cars are lined up.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking this, Sky analysed it pretty damn good. You can't really faulter Davidson, mixed with Brundle and Herbert

The fact it even needed analysis is beyond me...

What's wrong with saying that Button should be number two at McLaren??

That's the truth. :hehe:

"You're as slow as a week in jail so move over for Lewis", should be the order for the run in. It won't of course because Button thinks he's "worldclass"....lol. :drink:

I didn't see any analysis seeing as I am one of the lucky few and don't have Sky. It was as plain as the nose on yer face that it was a racing incident.

The fact that F1's biggest tattle-tales have not gone running to teacher over this confirms that the stewards (and everyone else) are correct in saying this was a racing incident.

So if you want to talk facts, well the fact is this was in fact a racing incident. That's a fact that is.

Number of points JB has scored in the last six races: 85
Number of points that LH has scored in the last six races: 60

Oh but of course JB should be a No. 2. driver, because he's not "worldclass" like LH is.

Putting "fact" in bold over and over again isn't, in my humble opinion, quite the same as actually checking facts.

In my humble opinion, it is a fact that this was a racing incident. An opinion established after checking all the facts so my opinion, or theory if you will, is in fact a fact. :D

Lewis would have got a victory in Singapore, but for reliability and would have picked up decent points in Spa, but for the scrapyard at corner 1.

Let's not forget that for the first nine years of Buttons carreer, he achieved nothing. Then he won the championship through a lucky technical break and all of a sudden, he thinks he's number one over the fastest driver on the grid....lol. Do me a favour.

I bet Button never wins another drivers championship and will drag McLaren down a hole imo. Perez will be the next in line to get Buttons insecurity full force.

I pity McLaren tbh.

I don't think the "what ifs" argue that Lewis is world class while Jenson is not. JB lost points through reliability too.

I'm just pointing out that when the facts are looked at (here actual points), there isn't the night and day difference between them that you suggest.

:banghead:

Your postulating, with no real basis.

Lewis has finished ahead 1 season, Jenson the next, Lewis is ahead this season, but Jenson had a shot at catching and passing Kobayashi and Lewis was pretty far back. You can clearly hear the team radio encouraging him to go for it. A swap made no strategic sense, you're the one who is insecure about Jenson challenging Lewis, who Jenson outraced,

I don't have time to look through all the previous posts on this thread.

But after seeing someone implying that there was something fishy about Lewis not qualifying well yesterday, I'm wondering whether there are any conspiracy theories concerning McLaren having two fluffed pitstops today.

Or perhaps someone will claim that Kobayashi deliberately yielded second place to Massa and kept Button behind because there's some secret mind-control device in the Ferrari engine behind him.

Or maybe someone will be claiming that Adrian Newey is an alien from Planet Zaarg or something.

I don't see this dramatic for McLaren.I think it'll not be better without Lewis but I am hopeful of Perez.Jenson can't drag him into a hopeless sitch.
