I think he has more potential, to be honest. The way he came back after that crash in FP3 is just amazing.

Indeed. It was completely crazy that Williams dropped him after 2010, even if his year didn't start off all that great. I can only hope his next move is upwards and comes soon.

Was pretty nice to see Maldonado have another event-free race and get some points. Maybe there is some hope after all. :hehe:

Herbert prolly hit the nail on the head in saying he thinks Grosjean might just be rusty after a sleep, maybe on the warm up lap he should test a bit into turn 1...

Anthony showed a replay on Sky of Kimi vs Hamilton, the spacial awareness from Kimi and lighting fast reactions was amazing he should go and have a word with Grosjean.

An epic race. So happy with all the top 3... although I really would like to see someone else in Massa's seat next year.

Kobayashi has deserved a podium for so long... Hopefully he gets a drive next year.

Don't think the championship is over and Alonso has to take the main positive from the race, and that was the Ferrari was quick in the race, and in Alonso's hands he definitely would have been P2, which makes it a bit silly he didnt back out, even if it was a racing incident.

As for the Championship, I expect Vettel and RBR to be strong in Korea and Brazil, however, Alonso and Ferrari will be very strong in India and Abu Dhabi. USA is a complete unknown so its all to play for, however, I think its over for everyone else!

yeah, nah I think Redbull is either going to match the best on pace or dominate races from here on in. Vettel's WDC to lose now no matter what anyone else says.

I'm watching the BTCC and it's truly terrible. A shaddow of what it used to be many moons ago. :crying:

But at least I've got an awesome F1 podium to brighten up my day. 8-)

Fantastic race, I was actually caught up and chanting KA-MU-EE along with the Japanese fans! Excellent. Glad to see Massa on the podium, it shows the Ferrari is good on race pace, but this podium was well deserved by Massa. Maybe he's finally starting to regain some of his composure and confidence as a driver.

Finally McLaren get both cars to the finish but pretty weak IMO... The Red Bull duble DRS is working, but thankfully will be banned next year. Will McLaren answer with another leapfrog? Five races and the WCC is still completely up in the air. A DNF for either team is going to be catastrophic!

Costly setup mistake for Lewis yesterday as he could have probably gotten the McLaren on podium today, but still a fantastic drive and a result I'm sure better than he could have hoped for given he makes up points on every contender but Vettel.

Hamilton's pass on Kimi Raikkonen coming out of the pits is the second best pass of the season IMO, Massa still takes the overtake of the year crown.

Too bad about Alonso, but the hiccup in his biggest advantage (consistent results in the points) has eroded his lead. Not sure what happened to him, seems like he almost lost control of the car on his own more than with Kimi. That's what a jittery car will do, versus a planted car. Perhaps unbalanced a bit by that but the loss and spin were his doing.

On to Korea, this is not over yet.

That pass was nothing special, to be honest. We have seen both him and Kimi do that many times in their careers. Massa move, on the other hand, was great.

I did say in my opinion. :hehe: Anyway, cold tires, a very critical position to take away WDC points and a lot of skill to make the move on the inside while keeping enough momentum for the counter attack. You wouldn't see many other drivers pulling that off. :drink:
