Want to talk about shredded carbon fibre, try this one for size. This wasn't Alonso's rookie season either.

Why would you post something like that? What does it prove? Nothing! It's one thing posting a crash that is a bit odd like someone running into the back of someone else at low speed in the pitlane or someone stopping in the wrong pit box (bit of a harmless giggle), but getting your jollies from a crash where a driver required medical treatment, regardless of who you support, is pretty low. :nono: No doubt you'l laugh at this but I really couldn't give a damn if you do.

Even more lols
You wanna go down that route?
You know you'll lose.

Dude, why rise to the bait?

What has dyslexia got to do with it?

If you think a crash at full speed in a blind corner is comparable to a crash in the pits.... something is not functioning correctly. Hence... dyslexic mind.

That's not fair, dyslexia isn't a problem with logical reasoning (not making any comments on if logical reasoning is a problem with hammer)

Dyslexia is best described as word blindness (though it does appear in other ways, but I won't go into those). I think the disability you are thinking of is.... actually I won't say it. This thread has enough ill feeling as it is without offending anyone who has a disability or is related to/knows anyone with a disability.

I guess that's fair enough. No one knows how anyone will fare but it's fair to say we can expect McLaren, Ferrari and Redbull winning races in 2013 since the regulations won't be changing much.

Of course they will win races in 2013 but that's not enough for a Mclaren fan or some fans. It's like my favorite football team Arsenal, great football and plenty of matches won but where is the freaking silver.

If you are really happy with Mclaren just winning races like Ron seems to be then perhaps it's time to support another team that really does want to win championships.

Personally i think the road cars have taken first priority at Mclaren and their share holders.

I know exactly what you mean with the comparison to arsenal who are also my fave team. however Arsenal have Wenger who it can be argued almost makes up for the lack of silver by his ability to perform miracles that no other manager does given the same resources (or lack of), to come close to Chelsea, and the Mancs every year even whilst building and moving to a new stadium and keeping the club in rude financial health without handing over to rich individuals almost tempers the sadness of not winning thing.

With Mclaren though, they have just admitted that they are no longer a top tier team, they are just a business struggling to survive. They cannot employ top drivers in a bid to be the best. they have admitted that they ar in the market for pay drivers, which is what Perez is, albeit one that has talent.
McLaren cannot live off past glories for too long, they have to start paying for engines, they have to start competing for sponsors, they have bitten off more than they can chew with the road cars, the 458 has refused to let the 12c intrude in the 200k bracket, and now Mclaren have turned to plan B - the Veyron space
McLaren are propped up by past glories, their claim to the biggest sponsors has eroded and indeed the biggest sponsor is leaving. They cannot afford to get the best drivers like Seb, Alonso or Lewis
Instead like arsenal they put on a brave face and find the best pay drivers available, Perez is good but he is inexperienced and Nogrip aint the guy youngsters should emulate. Nogrip will soon be looking to Perez for help and direction with setup and hunger.

McLaren are now like Williams, a customer team with limited funds and limited hopes, in fact the difference is that McLaren have cheap mediocrity inbuilt at management stage. 'just hang in there martin, try to at least compete with the big teams so we can keep the facade up'
