Are you a betting man because going by the facts you would be mad betting against Ross Brawn and Mercedes pulling it out of the hat, hell they could spring a nasty surprise next year for all you know.I'm a Mclaren fan and a Lewis fan,i'm gutted Mclaren have sunk low in the last 12 years but i also love Mercedes cars,i drive one and have always had a merc in the driveway once i could afford to drive they're cars.

Let's look at the fact because they don't lie.

McLaren last won a constructors title in 1998, before Hamilton delivered the drivers in 2008 it was Hakkinen in 99 that brought home it's last. So in the last 12 years they've brought home 1 drivers title nothing else. Ross Brawn on the other hand has delivered 8 drivers titles with 3 different teams and 7 constructors. So if you ask yourself who is better placed to sell success then Brawn and Mercedes will be very well placed to challenge in the not to distant future. McLaren can win races yes, but titles, well, the facts don't lie.

Some Mercedes cars are suberb, and I understand why you support them, but that doesn't mean they are guaranteed to succeed in F1. Ross Brawn can't do much by himself, a team is much more than the team Boss n drivers... If I was to bet at least for next season it would be that Mercedes will not score more points than any of the top three (maybe four?) teams.
I am a bit disappointed too, for the last 12 years, but there were many factors involved and Mclaren had many difficult times as a team. The fact I see is that they are still one of the three top teams.
I am not saying it's impossible for Mercedes to win the championship the next years I just wouldn't bet on it. :)

I guess that's fair enough. No one knows how anyone will fare but it's fair to say we can expect McLaren, Ferrari and Redbull winning races in 2013 since the regulations won't be changing much.

Of course they will win races in 2013 but that's not enough for a Mclaren fan or some fans. It's like my favorite football team Arsenal, great football and plenty of matches won but where is the freaking silver.

If you are really happy with Mclaren just winning races like Ron seems to be then perhaps it's time to support another team that really does want to win championships.

Personally i think the road cars have taken first priority at Mclaren and their share holders.

I suppose he wanted to be serviced by the fastest pit crew. What's wrong with that? :P

I'm just saying...

What made me sick about this is the BBC F1 team and British f1 media just blew it off, nothing made of it whatsoever.Imagine if Lewis made this school boy error you would not hear the last of it,they would show this time and time again.

I think this was the first time a driver had ever gone into the wrong pit box.

To be fair, if most of us drove into a bay at Kwik-fit at 40mph and tried to stop in exactly the right place whilst trying not to loose any time and whilst talking on the phone or playing with the radio we'd miss by a fair bit.

i guess the media only likes it when carbon fibre gets shredded, like this:

Lol the first comment there totally applies to you. If you want to post a vid of a Hamilton mistake, at least make sure its a vid.

Want to talk about shredded carbon fibre, try this one for size. This wasn't Alonso's rookie season either.
