Not so good. What went wrong?

Just some self-inflicted suffering. Foolishly decided to go paintballing in the lovely September sun (errr...) this weekend, whilst already quite unwell. We won, but my Monday makes me question whether or not it was really worth it... :hehe:

Forgive my intrusion, but who's balls were you painting?

Why pay to go paint balling? Join the military you get to do it for a couple of months at a time and they pay you to do it! I would imagine that the paint balls the Taliban use hurt a bit more as well.

I have no doubt I would find myself completely inept at any military activity. It's just not what I was cut out to do.

Just got home, it's 5:22am. Son of a bitch. I got the mother of all punctures (and apparently modern cars don't need spares - good one), got a pic, will post tomorrow....

Bummer!

Run-flat tires - I drive a car with those (and no spare)

I think I would rather carry a spare, just incase a tyre gets ripped up. Plus the cost to replace a run flat is a disgrace

I ache, yes, but from being out of shape and running around for eight hours, not from being hit. Unless you take a hit from only a couple of metres away, or in a delicate spot (I got one to the neck, which managed to get between the clothes and face mask, and my brother got one...somewhere tender), then it will only really sting for a minute or so. It will leave a mark, but I can prod at them and they don't really hurt. It's great fun when the opposition actually understand the rules, but both times I've been there were some non-English speaking players on the other team that didn't get that when you get hit, you're out. Was quite frustrating to shoot a guy three times and just have him turn round and fire back... :|

Give it a try though, if you're interested. Makes for a great day out, but it's definitely better when the weather has been good for a few days, for obvious reasons. :P

I've had two run flats come off the rim the second one didn't even last half a mile at 25 mph
