So, WB, are you following Lewis to Merc?

HAHAHA... I'm flattered you've asked me for my opinon Lew. You're so sweet. :cloud9:

I'm going to enjoy 2013, If there's a team I support it's McLaren, but there are a number of drivers that I support outright or just have the utmost respect for but sadly, neither of those are McLaren drivers at the moment. We know what Jenson is capable of on the day he's got the car set up right, and Perez will have a big spotlight on him next year, I hope he does well. I think his success at McLaren will do wonders for the sport in North America and I'm all for something that promotes the sport close to home.

We did say we'd reserve the right to turn any post into a "dirty" post did we not RC? That hookah picture didn't need much turning. :hehe:

Lol
It is the wrong thread hehe
How'd this end up in here???

Anyways... Vettel was a country mile ahead in the end. But there were moments when Button was at least as close as Lew is today to Alonso. Soooo... Why not help?

I took the liberty to move this out of the Perez thread, this was in regards to your conversation with RC.

Now about your bold italics comment above... name one. Jenson was 57 points behind by the Spanish GP, and 77 points behind by the GP of Europe. Conversely, Lewis was ahead of Button in Spain, and Button an Lewis were tied after Silverstone.

Guys... please, please, please... you can't just stay &*%*$ without it being factual... it really weakens whatever point you're trying to make if your numbers don't add up. Thank you very much, this has been a public service announcement.

57 vs 52 today. A very small difference and the thought of helping a teammate was not even in question. In this case, considering Jenosn won the 1st race, and disappeared as upgrades arrived; i think the helping stuff was brought up like 4 races ago!

And dont get me wrong. In a firm believer of prioritizing the drivers as long as it's the team making the decision. Ive always said Mc and their fans always shoot themselves in the ft by claiming its morally wrong. Its pretty obvious Mclaren have a hard time getting a car that suits both...... Time to face the reality.

I've been saying this for some time, there should be a point some time before it gets to the 'it's mathematically impossible' stage for a driver to win for Mclaren to make a decision on it's drivers. Leaving the decision up to the drivers is never going to work and by the time the team can do anything it's too late, I could be wrong but I have the feeling that's been part of the problem.
