You could call it Alonso, it might moan, but it'll never break or crash - unless it gets hit by a flying Frenchmen.

Couldn't do that, it'd be like an act of treason!!! But my guinea pig Lewis and my kindle Lewis both died so Im not risking that.
Maybe I'll call it Rascasse....that has a nice ring to it. I like how some words sound and thats one of them.

It needs to be easy to use, intuitive.

There really is no debate here. Just get the iPad.

Our work bought us a couple Kindle fires, and they're such a pain in the bottom to use, I just stick with using my phone to do stuff when I'm out and about.

Anyway, like MOA said, just go demo them. Try to log on and post to to forumula1.com. You'll see what I mean.

Oh no! MOA you created an iPad monster! :yikes:

I have nothing against the iPad, it's a good device, I just prefer more configurability and customization.

RC, an apple ID is a login you'll need to create when you set up your iPad to access the AppStore and apple's cloud services.

Will it tell me how to do that when the iPad comes?

Yes, it will ask you to login or create an Apple ID login, the setup process is very easy assuming you can follow instruction.

I'm prolly going to wait for a Windows 8 Tablet, if not I'll likely get myself a Samsung or Asus based tablet.

This is why Apple products sell so well; they are designed for the non technologically minded; but Android and Windows devices are becoming more user friendly for the noobie.

I'm happy that you're happy with it; which is all that matters; you're the one using the device, day in, day out! :)

Since I now have the iPad, I thought this could now become my helpline :) . I'm learning fast, doing better than I thought!!!! But still sometimes select the wrong things on the touch screen. Posting photos from my iPad is easy. but if I want to get a pic off the Internet I can't do it. Anyone know how?(I wasn't very good at it on the proper computer either, it was a bit hit and miss)
