I downloaded iOS6 for the iPad and they still haven't fixed my biggest bugbear with iOS5, the restriction controls can not be temporarily disabled, every time I disable restrictions, it forgets all my settings and requires me to reset every one of them, and in iOS6 there are even more restriction settings... C'mon Apple, sort it out!

You're going to have a hard time with that because that's the way apple does security inherently in iOS. If you really want something that would allow you that control I think you're looking for security/profile container managers and looking at Andriod. Apple will do just what you're looking for but through a corporate remote managed active sync type of product like Mobile Iron, Air Watch or McAfee EMM.

Which is why I prefer Android based devices, if it doesn't do it out of the box, there's an (usually free) app for that... as I have said many times, if I had $400 to spend on a tablet, it wouldn't be Apple; the only reason I bought an iPad was so my son can use the iPad exclusive apps that helps with his speech and math.

It's a conscious descision that is made as a corporate strategy. The reason you won't buy it isn't as motivating to Apple and it's also the reason that Apple out numbers Android in the corporate environment by a ten to one factor. Eventually the platforms find parity.

Sri Is pretty good, It has the wow factor, but is basically a streamlined search engine. Might be a little gimmicky because you can't really use it in public and possibly slower than actually typing. Picks up my diction pretty good.

It couldn't tell me Lewis Hamilton would go to Mercedes but it managed to tell me was due to rain in Singapore on the weekend, life expectancy in Japan, rank nations of the world by highest life expectancy, told me Arsenal crushed Southampton 6-1 and also when Arsenal were due to play next. Missd out the champions league result though. Picks up names good.

More like... If it ain't broke, it costs too much money to license from Google so we'll build our own and hope we can get through the growing pains without too much blowback.

More like... If it ain't broke, it costs too much money to license from Google so we'll build our own and hope we can get through the growing pains without too much blowback.

But Apple are still paying for the map data from TomTom which isn't that great, TomTom relies on user input for much of their map data, especially for businesses and attractions.
