Can't see Schumacher at Ferrari for one year, unless he thinks they have a title shot for 2014, even then does he really want to compete with Alonso?

Maybe like an elephant he wants to go home to die/retire

That's... harsh.

Howdy old chaps!! :wavey:

I do not think Hammy will be going to Merc in 2013 but then again this does not mean that a team change for him is not in the cards. The silly season has started a tad early this season and as we all know what is thought to be the impossible IS possible in F1. Things are getting very interesting indeed.

Hope all my mates here are well and I wanted to say hello.

Regards,
Gregg :)

Yo hope you are well!

I hope Hamilton goes t Force India or something. Lean some humility at a midfield team.

I do not see Merc as a midfield team and they have quite a few upgrades they have been testing so hopefully these changes can improve their overall results.

They shot their wad with the DDRS knowing it wouldn't easily be copied and thought that would give them an advantage for the year. Coupled with unreliability and the lack of major upgrades they're more than struggled this year.

Simple math, there are 12 teams, if you break them into thirds, you've got four top teams, four mid field teams and four back marker teams. Mercedes currently are a midfield team.

Merc are going to try Triple DRS aren't they?

Nah, they'll skip that and go to quintuple:

That's the one Rosberg uses to shave his legs.

Nuh-uh!

Interesting little commentary by Mark Sutton of Sutton Images. I was digging through the ESPN site and caught his comments on his favorite shots from Monza. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

I don't know what's happened with Lewis but since the summer break he's been different. I spoke about shooting him on the Hungary podium and him looking up to us and being a bit emotional etc, but now something's changed. There are lots of reasons rumoured as to the reasons for his state of mind but it all seems to be building up on him. When he got pole he came in to parc ferme and didn't celebrate. After the race was similar, and even Jenson was still happy despite having a DNF which virtually ended his title hopes. McLaren only does team celebration photos when it wins, so we were all in position for it nice and early. We did the first 'one-two-three' to get a cheer from the team and Lewis did nothing. I think Whitmarsh said something to him then about getting a smile and the second time he gave us a fist pump, and then the third time - in this shot - Lewis pointed at everyone. It was a bit like a message to the media, I'm not sure what he meant by it but it felt like a message to the press to me.

What I find interesting is the body language between MW and LH in it, look at the gap between them

Well whats new pusycat!!! I thınk the dynamıcs between those three have been obvıous for a good 18mths.
Last year Button was toutıng hımself at Red Bull and Ferrarı before sıgnıng for McLaren and I belıeve he dıdnt sıgn tıll around November tıme. All we heard from Whıtmarsh was hope Button wouuld stay and delıght when he dıd. Before the last race Whıtmarsh(when asked about Lewıs) saıd ...we dont want anyone ın the team who doesnt want to be here. Very dıfferent to how he handled thıngs wıth Jenson last year. Well the reverse ıs true- Lewıs probably doesnt want a team that arent commıtted to hım. So ıts not an easy decısıon to make.
