The guy needs to cool it. Sometimes you push the edge more often than you would since you're in that 'must be back to my best ASAP' mentality and that can cost you dear. He might want to think a bit about his life rather than getting back in tiptop shape for his career.

It really doesn't seem to be too bright to be driving when his hand clearly isn't upto par. Rallying doesn't seem like a good idea as there is a lot more sawing at the wheel than there is in F1!

I don't know why he doesn't stick to circuits, entering some Touring car events or just practice sessions. He should stay far away from rallying.

He doesn't have more crashes in rally than average. One was just a freak one that involved a guardrail piercing. They all push that hard It's just the luck of the draw.

"I have still got a long road to travel and will probably never be at the same physical level as before but I don't intend to give up.

"The aim remains to return to Formula One and the next few months will tell me whether I can do it next year already or will have to wait until 2014."

He must still have the fitness to rally though.
