He tweeted to his followers. That's not trolling. If religious people are following Stephen Fry, then they really have lost the plot. 
Ok then. I'll be the stereotypical Scot and start posting anti-English messages that will anger anyone who is English but it won't be trolling 'cos it's someone elses fault they read what I put in the public domain. Your logic does not quite work there.
And so what if someone religious is following Stephen Fry? Does it say anywhere that people with religious beliefs are not allowed to use Twitter? Don't be so silly. Your hero has made a faux pas and is now can't hack it 'cos someone has called him on it and his sycophantic followers have not got the wit to realise this. In fact, I don't know who is more arrogant and stupid - Stephen Fry or his Twitter minions.

In fact, I think I'll sign up to Twitter and tell him he's a boring old fart and see if he leaves again in a sulk.
