I did stop watching when Honda (Well, BAR) got chucked out for two races. I tuned back in for Monaco because Jens was doing the commentary, but basically yeah.

Actually, it would depend on the situation. I probably wouldn't stop completely, but I would only have a passing interest.

Where's the love of F1 in general? Can we assume you, among a few other's, will no longer be around once JB, RB, FA, Fisi and other's either retire or go to touring car's? Why not get ahead start on the number of post on those website's now instead of wasting your time here?

Yah I'm being a major arse but the concept I'm seeing is just being a fan of who's hot at the moment and I call it the Britney Spear's complex!
Hot at the moment? Honda are stinking up the joint!

Anyway, I'm just talking about DQs here. Not retiring from racing. I'd only be irritated if they were pushed. If they jumped, fine. I love F1 - well, when it's being run properly.

I wouldn't find it as interesting but I am more of a fan of the sport itself then I am a Ferrari fan so I would still watch F1 if Ferrari were to leave F1 (but like its gunna happen).

Sorry the 'Left F1' part of the thread title is alittle misleading.

Well to be honest i would still watch it for the sheer fun of it
and know what JB is dealing with ;)
but i think if anything goes wrong this season with the Mclaren side to it then they will get thrown out completley of the competition and i think alot of people will tune out of F1 ;)

Sorry, but I am catching up on this post.

Just what if (and someone may have thrown this out there) Mclaren did say during the middle of last year, "we can't compete", we are paying the fine and closing the doors. I would be in a fit. Although BMW-Sauber is my team, anytime you take competition away it makes it less worth watching.

How inspiring was it to watch the Spyker team lead a lap or two last year (in the rain). I was hyped up for the team!! I think they could actually stand two more teams on the track.

If force india, Super Best Friends, STR get in the points or Podiums this year. I think we will all be better for it.. Shaking our heads saying "how the hell did they do that??"

to answer: No i would keep watching.

Well said. :D Thats the difference between someone who loves the sport and someone who is fanatical about a team or driver and follows them blindly unable to appreciate the racing itself.

Well said Stealthgate007 (interesting name!) AND Race Chick. I do not really have a team or driver, but I really dont like Fairy (Ferrari) and I did not like MS. I suppose that I am interested in the British drivers (cos I'm British) and I follow McL a bit closer, because they are a local team to me and a few friends work for McL. Really, I just love the racing and appreciate the skills of any driver or team. Yes the Spyker leading the race was great.

It's also a long, painful wait too especially now it's been moved a week further away compared to previous seasons... :(
