Anyway... rumours of Lewis to Mercedes look much better founded than the ones to Ferrari. I don't see Ferrari getting Lewis, when Vettel is possibly available for negotiations.

Anyway... rumours of Lewis to Mercedes look much better founded than the ones to Ferrari. I don't see Ferrari getting Lewis, when Vettel is possibly available for negotiations.

I'd love to see a Vettel, Alonso teaming. I'm not quite sure Ferrari could afford Hamilton at the moment, perhaps Vettel since he's already starting from a low salary position.

I think Hamilton is staying put, the last major move we had was preceded by a major move from a sponsor which basically helped Ferrari pay for Alonso. A sort of pay driver if you will. I think that a move by Lewis would also be accompanied, or more likely be preceded by a move of a major sponsor.

Yup. I see no reason at all for Lewis change teams.

To me, all these so called "hints" are just poker-playing to try and get the most money and upper hand in the end. And maybe try and get some leverage on Mclaren about getting Jenson to support his championship run. Especially since Massa has started getting some decent results...

Err...if I may kindly reject it, that thread was supposed to only discuss Lewis' victories, however I think a lot of other stuff was moved into it (anything to do with Lewis)....this thread serves as a standalone on the basis on speculation of Lewis moving to another team. It's a great thread by itself. Really.
