Finally got round to seeing The Dark Knight Rises. Loved it.

First time in ages I was routing for the baddie.

I do love a bit of Tom Hardy. Damn good actor if you ask me.

I saw it 3 times in the theatre so far. My record for movies in the theatre, and not planning to extend it. :hehe:

I was always rooting for Hardy to get big roles ever since Inception. And the irony is that his role in the movie wasn't even that significant, but he managed to shine through. Watch RocknRolla, Bronson, Warrior for classic Hardy performances.

Bronson and Warrior are excellent. But the first thing I saw him in that brought him to my attention was Sky1's 'The Take'. He is phenomenal in that!! He is good at playing the slightly unhinged.

I event enjoyed the the wifes chick flick - "This Means War" - So he can definitely diversify.

RocknRolla

Anyone seen the new Bourne film? I love the first three and heard good things about the new one, but i worry it just won't stack up without Matt Damon.

The trailor looks good - and Ive liked him in some of the films of his Ive seen (Esp. The Hurt Locker.). So its something I would go see in cinema.

Okay, have to try and catch The Take then.

Gave the chick flick a miss since I thought he'd just look stupid there and didn't want to destroy my perception of him. But kudos to him for not messing it up I guess. :)

Well I quite like chick flicks - so maybe my opinion will differ from yours !

will finally get around to watching the Senna movie this weekend. It's been sitting unopened in an envelope from NetFlix for nearly two weeks now.

Napoleon Dynamite is a great film, I can believe Sky Movies pinched it off Film4.

Napoleon Dynamite is a great film...

No it's not, it's truly one of the worst films I have ever watched. In fact it pained me so much to endure this film that I couldn't even watch the entire thing. Truly one of the worst things ever to be labelled as a film ever.

Not much more to add there.....

Very poor, I may be able to live with if there's enough eye candy. However... HELL would be being forced to watch a constantly playing loop of Steel Magnolias.

I stopped watching Carrie and friends once the HBO series ended.
