Loved the penalty on vettel lol

great race overall. way bummed that webber DNF'd. Very consoled with perez getting 2nd if the guy isn't going to ferrari next year or getting a pay raise by sauber, idk what's wrong with the world!

I really hope Perez gets the recognition he deserves - be that a drive in a top tier team, or Sauber coming up with a car that matches his talent. I partly want it to be the latter, as I think Sauber deserve some praise - and I worry Perez would not be allowed to flourish as much as a No.2 driver....

Maybe Perez can replace Hamilton at McLaren when he goes to Mercedes/RedBull/Ferrari/HRT*

Massa should really tell Ferrari where they can shove their F2012 and get into a team where he is allowed to race.

Are we even certain Massa will have a seat once he vacates the second Ferrari? I can't see anyone taking him...maybe Sauber. Peter Suaber seems to like Massa but Mr. Sauber is also retreating from the management of the team so any influence on drivers may be out of his domain.

I'm just saying...

Depends on the breaks. Qualifying 3rd and running 2nd until team orders and crappy tyres kicked in shows he still has it, when the team suppports him.

I disagree, his team mate started 10th, and caught up to him without team orders.

Saying he caught up without team orders is irrelevant. What use would Ferrari team orders be against Mercs and Red Bulls?! But we all heard the none too subtley coded message telling Massa the gap.

What do you mean? I thought you were saying he preformed well with his team mate out of position so the team were focussing on him, but his team mate still managed to catch him up, which I made the point suggests that his team mate is far quicker then him, so Massa didn't do that great.

The team orders were used to help Alonso in the WDC, not much point in helping Massa win it.

Well why wasn't he able to out run Alonso who qualified 10th? Doesn't that outweigh it?
Also, Alonso was behind Massa on the Q3 run, when Massa did his best time (i.e. Massa wasn't reassured by Alonso doing poorly because he didn't know, as Alonso was behind him).

He drove out of his skin in 2008 and before that was becoming a match at times for an in form Schumacher.
