Yea that was a great race; pretty exciting. They go fast.

Sergio had an amazing race and Lewis basically cruised but the mclaren is solid. Alonso was great. Great.

Winning hungary and monza shows mclaren is strong. Time to go get em.

That Sauber is wonderful.

Also:

1 Fernando Alonso 179
2 Lewis Hamilton 142
3 Kimi Räikkönen 141

Sneaky Kimi is sneaky. Maybe it will still happen.

Indeed he is. :D I can't believe he's only 1 point behind a 3 race winner..

Crazy stuff.

Kimi and Sergio were both very clean, very fair. But kimi wtf, i'm sure the F1 stat keepers are double checking their math there hehe

Button should help Lewis now!
realistically he's out of it

He said he needs to be mathematically out of it....anyway Lewis doesn't need his help. I'd like Button to come in between Lewis and Alonso more though it was a shame he retired today.

I honestly don't see Jenson helping Lewis. To be honest, Jenson is going to have a very difficult time beating Alonso or Vettel so with that, he's not really in a position to help Lewis, is he? Lewis simply needs to get full support from the team, a strong and reliable car and just do what he does best...fight and win.

I'm just saying...

A very welcomed short week. A McLaren will win Monza and it won't be Button sitting in it.

Oh yeah, might have well locked this thread after the first post.

No-one likes a show off

It's difficult to contain all that jubilation especially after last week's results. Given the Sauber's performance today, it would have been really interesting to see how they would have done last week as well. It was a shame not to have had a clean start in Spa.

Conclusion: Red Bull risked too much, Renault has shitty alternators. Vettel MUST attack in the remaining races.

He can't... The stewards have :censored: with the Red Bull car too much now... It's slow, unreliable, and the whole world is against them. It will be nigh on impossible for him to get race victories. He has penalties, car failures and back markers that he has to keep contending with... Whilst I am hopeful that it is 2010 all over again, the best thing that I can hope for is a flipping entertaining season from Vettel - but people will still search through the bottom of their souls for another reason to hate him.

That was a terrible penalty. What on earth did they bung him for anyway? What was the explanation?

Good race from Hamilton and Perez. Disaster for Red Bull and Force India...
