In other words, he's putting pressure. Win to keep this job...in other words go for it in the first corner and crash at least 1 of the McLarens out. Well played Monty.
Of course I am extremely disappointed because this was one of the easiest situations in my career to get a pole position at Monza and my career started in 1973," Montezemolo said. "Alonso was absolutely the quickest, the car here is extremely competitive and that he has to start tenth instead of first is a big disappointed, particularly because this has happened after what happened in Spa when we lost all the points

Why all the f'ing around with slipstreaming Monty?
I think Fernando has a fair chance of beating Vettel. I'd expect Fernando to gain 2-3 places on the first lap. If Fernando gets near Vettel, then a quicker Ferrari with DRS plus a RedBull hitting the rev limiter should make passing possible.
I'd expect Fernando to get to 5th-6th. If he gets to 4th, that would be an impressive result. That the race is likely to be a one stopper for many won't help him.
Button needs to beat Hamilton to keep his championship hopes up. I don't think that the McLarens will just drive around in formation at the front if Button can match Hamilton's speed.
Montezemolo's comments about Massa are perhaps a bit optimistic unless he knows something about race pace that we don't.

Hindsight has proved you right stonemonkey! Felipe set his best time in his 2nd run - without the tow from Fernando. On the other hand, they tried something and I give them credit for that. Being a Tifoso, (and as I posted previously) it was great to see Fernando doing the team thing and at least trying to help Felipe by giving him tow - for me it is great when you see your driver doing the team thing.
I hope we get a clean start today as the first chicane can be a bit dodgy.
Lewis needs to get off the line quickly as Button will fancy his chances on the run down. I hope we don't see any contact between them though.

If Lewis has to suffer any contact at the first corner, I hope it's with Button. Mainly because I can't wait for this 'we're good friends' show to end, because it is a pretty obvious show they're putting on. Some animosity in the team would be more welcome as Button won't be able to play his PR tricks so much then.
