I'm :censored: angry now!Yesterday,I spent my whole night on making Turkish subtitles for behind the scenes of a music clip. Then I uploaded the video. But those b*stards in YouTube blocked it in ''SOME'' (oh that go to be like 100) countries :banghead: Come on, what the sh!t would I benefit from the video??!I even said:''I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO.I just made the Turkish Subtitles for Turkish fans.'' in the description. That's not the first time those :censored: do this to my videos! So is there a way to fix it?

EDIT:Yes,it is blocked in some countries. But in South Sudan they can see it,on the bright side!

I don't know too much about it, but it could be more about unlawful music sharing than copyright infringement. The record co., and the artist don't want their material copied and spread for free all over the place. Just a guess though. My daughter makes videos of herself playing with Liv Girls and Littles Pet Shop and if she dubs a pop song on it it won't let her upload it or it flags it and she gets a notice or something. Once, she recorded it through the air with a mic so their system wouldn't know what it is, and she got a notice, but did let it ge tuploaded. Either they have some sound recognizing thing or someone flagged it.

That's ridiculous. We don't even say we actually own the music. But if it is not legal to share it then why other users don't get their video blocked whereas I do?They translated the same video in Spanish, and it is on the site with 200,000 views. If they're gonna do something, they should be equal to everyone. :bs:

PS:There is a section with info about copyright things https://www.youtube.com/t/copyright_my_video but too boring to read

I did not think Turkey had copy write laws? I remembered it being mentioned when they asked to join the EU

The footage probably belongs to the musician or the record company so if I'm reading this correctly you are using someone elses property to create something of your own without the permission of the copyright owner. It's a bit like posting a clip of F1 footage - it'll be taken down as you don't own it. It's not a question about you sharing the video. This is to do with using it and to some extent altering it. basically YouTube covering their bottom so their don't get sued for a copyright infringement. Seems fair to me if I'm understanding this correctly.

It's annoying after you've spent so much time on putting it together. I once made a couple of F1 videos and put them on YouTube years ago. Needless to say, they both got taken down.

I also think that when one's account has videos removed from the site, it's put under increased scrutiny. I had another video removed, completely unrelated to F1, so I deleted my account. I've since used another alias, and have so far had no trouble.

Actually doing copy illegally is a crime here but I don't now much about it.As far as I know, the YouTube laws are the US laws

They can take it down if it is so.But why me and some other ones. There was a translation of the same video in Spanish and the channel didn't own it either,as I told before. So they should take it down, too.

Yes,I spent a long time and now, all was for nothing. And it's confusing why taking another account worked for you.If there's scrunity why did my very new video got deleted not the other ones?Probably my bad luck.

Also, there's a way to get rid of block. You say :''I believe this copyright claim is not valid.'' then you pick :'' My use of the content meets the legal requirements for fair use or fair dealing under applicable copyright laws. '' And then you copy-paste a law to the box given, and you sign it with your real name.It worked for many people but I'm afraid my bad luck or companies being annoying will streak and it will just be worse, they'll close my account.

Did they have permission to essentially alter someone elses property?

I don't think they did. They say they had marked the previous copyright by Vevo,I am not sure about what they're meaning. -So their video was removed once however they could reupload but how?-

I think that is the YouTube equivalent of referencing you school reports. Chances are it'll be uploaded until it is taken down again.
