You tell me. You've more experience of this kind of thing than me. All I'm saying is I don't take it as being the usual serious stuff. If you ever read crash.net you'd be familiar with pieces like this. It ain't too serious.

What a freaking joke, Hamilton 1 point ahead of Button in the half term report? And 6/10 for his driving? Has he been WATCHING races this year?

Who is this clown of an author anyway, some primary school dropout? LOL GTFO

After the first race of the season he came up with this, I think it says it all:

We agree, to each his own style of fanaticism I say.

The author discussed is clearly a muppet.

However the prize for pure muppetry if not outright banditry must go to this chap;

http://www.formula1fancast.com/2012/08/formula1teams/ferrari/five-drivers-mclaren-could-turn-to-if-hamilton-leaves?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Formula1Fancast+%28Formula+1+FanCast%29

The tension may come from his very modest start to the season together with that feeling of being in the shade of Jenson Button for most part of it. Although the victory at Hungary helped shut some mouths, Hamilton has been questioned during the most part of the ongoing season.

And it was written after Hungary

It's a fair world...even hare-brained haters have access to writing F1 articles.

When Hamilton first came upon the scene I was delighted and supported him 100%. Since he left his father, he has joined the weird pop world, become a girl's blouse and looks really stupid with his ear studs. He wants to be a pop star so maybe he should learn to sing instead of trying to bring that world into F1. These days, I cannot think how he represents McLaren and they will be well rid of him.

I've moved your comment into the Lewis thread as he's already being discussed here and elsewhere.

What a load of rubbish lol,i guess Alonso having that tattoo all up the back of his neck means he wants to be a celeb, right? You don't need to use something as trivial as Lewis wearing two earrings to mask your hate for him, just man up and admit you just don't like him.

Bet you have no problem with rooney and the like, sleeping with prostitutes and falling out of clubs drunk and cheating on his wife, right? Go back and you will find Jenson Button was far worse than Lewis but i guess you didn't mind that, right.

I said Lewis would go to Mercedes,it's a logical choice, they have the best engine and Ross Brawn and Norbert who will build Lewis a team that is dedicated to him winning. In 2014 everything changes,Mercedes are in the best position to build the best engine,it's as simple as that.

You think Mercedes are going to give Mclaren anything more than they have paid for, nope.Forget about this years car,Mclaren will wish they never put all they're eggs into Jenson Button, that's for sure.

Anyone thinking that Lewis moving to Merc is a disaster is not looking at the near future

Whennew engines are introduced, the best place to be will be at a team with 'works' status

McLaren will be customers of Merc, and not preffered customers either, thy will be just like Force India, now imagine Sam and Martin integrating a new engine with the same efficiency as they brought to bear on pitstops etc
At that rate it will be 2 seasons before they are competitive again

And thats assuming Merc will supply their customers with exactly the same spec engine as they supply their works team. Thats never gonna happen in a month of Sundays. Merc will not be as forthcomming with the help McLaren will need.

Also if they transfer focus and funds to turning Lewis into a champ, firstly Lewis will be paid what he deserves - The most in the paddock, and also like MS at Ferrari, he will have Ross Brawn as well as MS to shape his success

So even if he challenges for a couple of years, once RB starts with a clean slate with the new regs, Lewis' Merc team will be the place to be

And we will see how McLaren get on with Di Resta leading the team

We are assuming the Merc do not walk away like Renault/Toyota/Ford/BMW/Honda between now and then.
