These were my two bets for this round!

The safety car to appear 5/1 $100,000
Massa to beat Alonso 7/1 $100,000

Nice, I had the safety car and a Ferrari to finish on the podium. Wonder what the odds on a Lotus finishing on a Ferrari would have been.

And I'd just swapped Button for Webber but at least Schumacher's finally scored me some points.

Honestly I made the best so long ago I completely forgot about them until I just looked. The Massa bet was the unexpected one but it was a cheap 100k to for the odd and all it took was an Alonso DNF of sorts.

Actually wouldn't have Alonso broken some kind of record or he was close to it with consecutive finishes in the points? Sorry to see the streak stop in this way.

What a race! I'm kinda screwed a little. I think I am completely out of transfers. At least sauber seems to be coming back, grosean being banned next race is going to blow. I was going to pick back up kimi but I can't now. So I guess this is my final team since it doesn't look like I get anymore xfers:

Team - Sauber
Engine - Mclaren
Drivers - Vettel, Hamilton, Grosean, Button

I have pretty all-star team for drivers, but I really wanted to pick back up kimi

[stonemonkey]

It's finally been updated, I did as bad as usual.

Anyone gonna bet on Grosjean finishing in the top 6 in Monza?

[acosmichippo]

DAMMIT, he's banned? wtf. I know it was a bad crash, but other drivers have done much more heinous crap this season and gotten nothing for it. Total BS.

What makes it worse is the fact that I've already made my one transfer this week. If I was smart and read the post race news, I'd have swapped him for someone who'd be in the race. f***.

[LewEngBridewell]

Sweet. I moved up a place (at vlad's expense)

Can't afford to make any of the changes I want to make this time though.

[myownalias]

One of my own team members screwed me! Grosjean who is my third driver, took out Hamilton and effectively Kobayashi, so I had three drivers down, just as well JB did the business!

[acosmichippo]

yeah, I'm right there with you. And we're screwed for Monza too thanks to his ban. I hope they let us collect whatever points his replacement gets.

Red the rules. You're screwed, but it's not so bad, chances are greater than 50/50 that he would have crashed in the first lap then as well.

What rules did you read? According to this, it seems likely we will get the replacement's points:

EXEPTIONAL MID-SEASON CHANGES

In the event of one of your selected drivers missing a race, the replacement driver will remain in your fantasy f1 team, and score points as per normal, the decision to transfer out the given driver is then your own decision to make. In the event of a selected driver switching team mid-season, the given driver will remain in your Fantasy F1 team.

Wacky Racers!:
Hi, If you still have Grosjean in your team, and don't change it will automatically be changed for the 1 race to his replacement.

I'm not sure who Wacky Racers! is... can anyone confirm he's official?

You're right. I am on another fantasy league which basically screws you if that scenario happens, sorry for getting my fantasies mixed up.

Think that guy is one of the admins, judging by his other shouts. Question is why would anyone have Grosjean anyway given all his DNFs?

[stonemonkey]

It's been updated, why has vettel scored 13 points?

Christian Horner runs the league, clearly.

Or could it be Helmut Marko? Hmmmm.
