I went to the bank today. So much of the finances in life are done electronically that I realized that the last time I'd been in a bank was September of last year!

If we did not have electronic based transactions life won't be worth living. I'd have to visit 2 banks per month and this does not include the bank I use for daily expenses.

I don't think I've ever been into any of the branches of my bank - all done over the phone. I sometimes wonder how people managed back in the day without phones or the internet. They must have been total savages!

We where talking about similar stuff in work the other day. The local phone box had allotted times of half hours where you could sign to use the phone, so you could phone home. Then again I suppose there was about 200 servicemen using about 3 phone box's. You would not believe the scuffles that would start if you went over your allotted time.
