I had to hand over a grand total of £375 for the deposit on my last flat. After 3 years I got it back with interest. I made money on it despite a small sum being incorrectly taken off but I didn't query it seeing as I wasn't really loosing out.

With the frigging Oyster Card, normally you swipe out at the start and finish of a journey. However, today I transferred from the Central Line to the Waterloo and City Line (both on the Underground), and found I had to swipe in and out numerous times at the interchange! WTF?!?!?!?! I've been charged loads more than I should've been for all that faffing around. Bollocks to it all.

Went to Cambridge with a friend to spend a nice summer's afternoon. We canoed down the canal and had a look around the colleges. Came pretty close to paradise with regards to the former.
