It's true though.

Look at the f-duct. Nice bit of innovation and guess what? It got banned.

Don't watch then.

Anyway, there might be some crazy scenario where all the Ferraris, Red bulls and Mclarens break down giving the smaller teams a chance at getting a good set of points

Given the stunning reliability we see these days, even compared to the early 2000s, that would be a miracle! :hehe:

It's okay, we have Pastor to make up for it.

Spa secured on calendar until 2015

23 August 2012

Organisers of the Belgian Grand Prix have confirmed a new three-year race contract with Bernie Ecclestone and Formula One Management (FOM). As reported by GPUpdate.net last month, the deal means that the popular Spa-Francorchamps circuit will remain on the calendar up to and including the 2015 season.

The deal was officially announced on Thursday by chief race promoter Etienne Davignon. Although the contract was orally agreed beforehand, pen has now been put to paper.

Jean-Claude Marcourt, economy minister for the Walloon part of Belgium, has reiterated that the government is now providing less funds but was not willing to state by how much. He also stressed that the Grand Prix will continue to promote the zone as a touristic destination.

Spa will host the latest F1 race, which brings an end to the month-long summer break next weekend. Over recent months, motorsport fans feared that the track may soon disappear off the calendar, or alternate with the French Grand Prix which was set to return before the country’s government changed after June's general election.

Wondering do pregnant women (7 mths in at least) get impacted negatively by F1 car noises from close range?

Count Schumacher out, since Merc are no longer in the running at the front. Maybe another freak podium if it rains.

Count Alonso out if it's a dry weekend, but it is Spa....so Ferrari's motorboat come racecar can't be counted out. Sigh.

"Clearly, Spa is number 1" - MSC

Soooo... Schumacher... Alonso... Lewis... Kimi for the win at Spa 2012??

if it rains Schumacher should be in with a good chance of a podium. Raikkonen will depend on the updates Lotus bring with them. Alonso and Hamilton have a chance wet or dry.

I've had a pretty hectic month, so I haven't actually noticed the wait this time.

Same. Plus had the MotoGP, BTCC, etc etc to keep me entertained in the meantime. Can't wait though, always look forward to this the most. :D
